I agree. I hope actually secretly that A.M Christiano (With Jahoda?) pushes forward with her "Rapunzel" company that is also focussed on a similar method like Tsuji & Lauster.
I have no idea about the actual science, but Tsuji and Lauster are using different methods to create new (baby?) follicles. Christiano was involved in a 3d culturing study too..maybe someone can access and see if they're using a third method?

so I just spoke to them they are going to have one of their doctors respond more thoroughly to my questions. should be in the next week or so. I got to say they are by the most helpful out of all the doctors/ companies I tried to get some answers from. I hope they are the ones that come through for us.

@Swoop appreciate it

I also agree the more companies/scientist working on this could only benefit us. two players in this we should also watch closely is,L'Oreal and dr. Atala. Both have enough funds to support their research. both are also using 3d printing which I believe is the best method for everyone. And we know L'Oreal will want to make a profit off of this, so they want to be the first to hit the market with a cure.

Loreals partner said they expect it will take at least 3 years before they can print follicles

No way they'll be first or even second to market at that rate

@ThatGuy I'm not saying they will be the first, I'm simple saying they are going to compete to be the first, otherwise why get in this game in the first place. and we do not know if tsuji or lauster will succeed next month or in 3 years, so i'll take more competitors in the market. did they say just print a follicle or a fully functional follicle in 3 years? I did not see that interview so i'm genuinely curious. and cant forget about what happen to aderans. the point is the more competitors the better for us.
@Abelibano yeaah good one....... I don't care what other products they make we know what 3d printing can do and if they succeed with it then we know it will be a cure. and L'Oreal isn't the one producing it, its their partners who have been dealing with bio printing for years.

I emailed TissUse asking very basic questions (mostly about cost and timeline) and they've already emailed me back saying they'll get back to me soon.

Thanks for sending email. Going forward please do not send individual email and frustrate them .. let's wait for response to our question and then again gather follow up questions and send them .

Swoop has already taken a lead to communicate with them so try to funnel our all questions thru him .

I know, don't worry. I honestly just saw this topic after I had already emailed them.

None of the Tissuse, Riken, etc.. gonna make it in a 3 years time And l'oreal will be targeting Europe first, so I let you do the calculation for the release of Tsuji in Japan + trial in Europe, etc...

Yes so what? Just another article for a full head to read online while drinking his coffee and then forget about it in the next 5 minutes.
Please...

I will NOT pay attention to anything that is not in Phase 3 and beyond (for FDA-related products) and to anything that is not proven to work by wide approval (in Europe)

So when those products reach the above state,I will be very eager to discuss them with you guys.Until then...

Edit: I may be unfair to this company but I simply cannot be more optimistic right now. Hope they overcome their difficulties and actually graft those generated follicles successfully.

Of course i missed posting the question at the adequate time:
Did we ask what the mayor roadblock is?

Thank you for the interview @Swoop !

Hey guys, I have sent out the questions last week. Waiting for an answer at the moment. I assume it might take a while since some scientific questions might be answered by other members of the team instead of Dr. Reyk Horland.

Thanks for the answer. Better have some info than nothing.
