Man we have a lot in common. I had that same ear thing this past fall. Ringing in left ear lasted about 3 wks, then suddenly went away. Then it came back a few weeks later and lasted another 3 wks. Now thankfully it's gone and hasn't come back for at least 2 months. Maybe some kind of virus that increases the fluid in the inner ear or something.

Sorry, not trying to turn this into the HearLossTalk forum. But we balding bro's have to support each other!

yeah, a little off-topic maybe . Thank good that went away. 3 weeks is a long time. Ive had it 12 days now. Its a pain in the *** to sleep nowadays. It makes me a bit more relieved to hear your story. Im having this, i dont know how you say it in english since its not my native language but i have this "lock in my ears-feeling". Feels there is some kind of fluid in there. Anyway my ENT toldme to relaxe. If I felt something was not right with my ear (the inner pressure etc) then its unlikely to be tinnitus.

Spooky sh*t.
I've got a cracking in my left ear that won't go away and is keeping me up at night.
Doctor diagnosed me with Eustachian tube dysfunction and now I'm on a steroid spray for 3 weeks before I can see an ENT.

Perhaps something is going round all of us baldies? :laugh:

My ears are fine. In fact they are one of my better features. Baby soft.
