On another note, that recession is bad, frightening how Norwood 3 to even a Norwood 2 really changes a face and is the last medical normal hairline. Unfortunately, the lad's forelock has also moved up beyond the mature position, he really needs 3k grafts minimum for a passable result so it's more like Norwood 4 as you can see here. Temple peaks and areas are also parallel Norwood 7 and need some building. With all this there won't be reinforcement either with a slightly wispy hairline but he's 60 and also loaded, doesn't give a **** just $$$$ and enjoy.

Hassini (reality TV) had a transplant, coarser hair definitely gives thickness but for inexperienced Drs it can be hard to make it look soft at the hairline unless an artist uses nape hairs or parietal ones which are softer. Either way he looks like a thick fullhead now so job done, even if the UK clinic is not too great. Shape of hairline was good but a bit too robotic with the insertions and multis at the front, if they worked on someone with actual coarse hair it would look even worse! Better to use experts in Spain, Turkey or Belgium honestly.

James Lock screwed up though and went to the same clinic lol. In his case it's all the negatives above but also he went too straight, didn't need one either lmao, God these guys just went for the option closest to home. First one is passable due to hairline shape and coarser hair, this one needs a repair. Repairs can be messy/unpredictable not to mention costly to the average person.

Holy f*** those transplants suck, its literally plugs, the last guy looked better without one.
That is why you go to the best surgeons in EU/US, not the nearest ones.

dudes like the last two guys are probably the reason people make fun of hair transplants and call people out for being insecure for getting one...

on the other hand, in quite sure that not many people outside of this site go and call tom ford bald... he also still looks way better than those mediocre dudes...

in my personal opinion: they look so boring... people always complain that bald people look like clones, but what about dudes like this? the stereotype chad type everyone wants to look like...

but yeah the transplants dont look good (at least on those pictures)...
to me they look worse than before... especially for a transplant that wasnt neccessary...
lost most of your hair? get a transplant, or whatever...
those two “chads” scream insecurity...

Yes, regarding their transplants, to most people they both look worse now, than they did with their natural hairlines,
but I would imagine to themselves they both look much better, a lot of those kind of z-list UK reality stars seem to view cosmetic surgery/dentistry as a badge of honor, meaning if its not obviously visible, then what's the point in getting it.

like this guy.

he was so impressed with his new hairline, he went back and got the beard to match.

Indeed. I had a quick look at the team for this clinic and they literally only have a few years worth of experience. I mean even then quality should be better but goes to show never go to a newish one, sometimes they make it barely passable, other times it's awful looking at their pictures. If you go to a top Dr this look never happens...you either get the best and natural result that you can possibly be given or you get poor growth (due to your own physiology) but never a doll look or basic tech errors. The angles here are very off and incisions are regular = plugs. Also when you create the corner pf the hairline, vertical to the lateral epicanthus it needs to be slightly V or kept open, they make it really blunt and flat. People would always look at these hairlines as they are not natural, sure maybe ordinary people may not pick up on it especially the first guy, but it's still a poor job in 2021 and many will notice, guys and girls are clued up.

UK I would go to Dr Reddy, Fargo or Dr Ball if I really had too. All are reputable but again why pay UK prices? Also these guys are not in the league of top Europe or Turkish Drs who are cheaper lol, Dr Reddy is decent enough but the other two seem conservative to me. US has some bad ones (the cheap ones for US prices are ones to avoid) but also very good ones even if it's expensive. I still wouldn't pay 20k for 2.5k grafts lol especially as a thick Norwood 3 which is an easy fix. I'd rather throw money at other things. I did mine at a fraction of that price and had a discount for a couple of reasons but at a good clinic, no one has picked up on my transplant and I've shared my result on PM here (back in the day), with other top Drs and of course real life feedback: looks full head and natural.

Everyone should have a game plan in terms of quality and cost effectiveness plus if they can get away without FUT and are low NWs, they should. Higher NWs with inadequate donor need both FUE and FUT and for that it's worth spending cash on with a top Dr as it's a do or die situation for passable hair on top without the possibility of repair and keeping the donor relatively clean. The typical hair loss sufferers can get away with just FUE and average proven Dr on some approved list who is affordable.

@20YearsOnFin

That guy in the end reached out to Joe Tillman and was on other transplant forums, once he realised his result wasn't good he got repaired apparently.

Natural results, notice you can wet it, comb it and it behaves like normal hair as best as possible.

You should broaden your reading on relevant hair topics if you value hair :p Over incel doom and gloom ;) First guy is passable but even he has too much of a low hairline for his face in that photo and more than that the angles/regularity/multis make it slightly pluggy. The 2nd guy is actually way worse.

The pluggy look is horrible.. I'm glad I don't have that problem.

Exactly, we've seen it before when the top ends up pluggy and see through, recession, hole in the crown and destroyed donor! Got to plan you own "hair future" and see if you're a candidate.

@Wolf Pack

What do you think of this guys results, who posted them this month?

He says he's had 3650 grafts and got very little to show for it, doesn't look like refined work, seems to have very little coverage, and what he has is unnaturally placed, he's also been left with a patchy and depleted donor.

Seems sad that mill clinics are still doing this to guys in this day and age and leaving them in a worst position then when they started.

Looks like he doesn't do much research even from what he is saying himself. It's difficult to say exactly without the hair grown out but yes for 3650 grafts his donor looks way too scarred and patchy and the grafts at the front look not too well placed and lots of gaps. No wonder he is shaving his head and it looks better that way. There will always be mill clinics as it's an easy way to make money for Drs.

My one was done at 50 grafts per cm2, that good hairline work is not sustainable over the rest of the scalp as grafts becoming more scarce. I mean I still have 8k grafts and really thick hair, more than the dark haired guy I linked, but there are no guarantees in life with surgery or anything. Thankfully only my corners were blown away and slick totally, rest of hair is still thick and haven't lost a hair on 7 years with finasteride.

Just realised Jude Law has kept his forelock in the mature position so it's easy to build a hairline around it unlike Tom Ford.

He might as well be wearing a piece with that hairline.
He was basically a higher hairline NW1, and he probably transplanted hair to places where he never had any hair ever.
