Topical finasteride? Any regrowth? Need help

I am very thin on top, however I do still have hair. Will topical finasteride alone thicken the hair or should try something else. Trying to use as less as possible but have a topical finasteride version that I started 2 weeks. I assume 3 months before I know if it works or not?

Hi, I'm thinking about lowering my dose of oral finasteride and adding topical finasteride. My dermatologist told me that it does work but it is less efficient than oral. He prescribed me to lower the oral dosage and add oral Minoxidil but I am having chest pains and I think I am going to stop the Minoxidil. In your case, have you just used oral finasteride or have you directly used the topical one?
