Ok I never thought there would be enough money in it for him to lie....I'm naive but disappointed cuz I can't trust anything he says now....
Topical Finasteride goes systemic too: who has experienced its sides?

all i can say about topical finasteride is sides in my case might be milder but i still have ED and no libido, the ED seems to me like there is just no signal from my brain to my penis, notmally i see something hot and it juet propagates downward, no there is just nothing its uktra strange. sometimes i can get wn erection but then i just lose that "conndction" and it gets floppy within seconds. its either fully hard or fully soft, there is no in betweens. its like something in my brain is missing, its kind of scary actually, if i had not been on finasteride multiple times and always returned to normal within a week id be freaked out even more. however i am not right now its just a little depressing.
what should i do? i do not believe sadly that a lower dose willactually work for my hwir, i get some rwndom itches now already at 1mg topically. it seems there is no option for me and the many like me

If you see my new post I was accidentally taking 2.5mgs per day for 4 1/2 weeks ... Not 0.25...
I kind of can relate. It takes a little more stimulation to get it up But once up, hard and good to go BUT I've always been an up in a second a quick to finish if excited so I'm ok.....do you think if I can handle 2.5 MG's for 35 days straight it's safe to safe no sides for me...or can they still come? Thank you

i dont think you can relqte at all. its not about getting it up, that is the ewsy part. its thqt you have to be uber concentrated to stwy up, the slightest thibg for example buffering of a p**rn video or for example if i need to sneeze i lose the erection its completely ridiculous. also you seem to tolerate just fine, i am on a low topical dose wnd it seems my hair is getting worse but my sides dont get better, topocal finasteride is a joke in my opinikn, very dissapointed

yes. dutasteride in general causes more sides of sexual nature.

i think from personal experience the great feat of topical finasteride is to give sides while not being able to improve hair, i am deff shedding more than on oral but sides are the same. so you get ED and hair loss but it is an amazing marketing feat for sure
been on topical finasteride from minoxidilmax for a week now
dilute it into 50% ethanol 50% distilled water @ 5mcg finasteride / mL solution
apply ~5 mL / app for full scalp coverage so 25 mcg or .025 mg
twice daily, so .05 mg / day
sides:
gyno may be getting worse, i've had natural gyno since age 14 so very susceptible
nips are mildly sensitive, slightly larger
somewhat harder to maintain erection, not that bad
just noticed the gyno thing today, will update
(gyno is proof the erection quality is not psychological)
hair:
perhaps less shedding, too early to say anything. non-conclusive
if sides get worse i might stop, but my balding is progressing so IDGAF at this point
should mention i started at x2 my current dose, so it was .1 mg / day. erection quality was affected so i stopped, it went back to normal after a day, so i diluted and started again.

you apply 10ml everx day? why?? 2-3 ml are enough for full scalp coverage, once daily is enough, dht takes days to come back

also if mcg you mean mixeo gram that dose is a complete joke, thats even below mazarella dosage and such huge amounts of liquid and alcohol, why tho

so your erection quality was affected at the dosage where mazarella could not find a change in DHT in blood tests. so either mazarella study is complete BS or your anecdotal report is complete BS. look at the doses you are using, gyno from MIKRO grams of topical finasteride souds absolurely crap insane to me. do us a favor and get your dht levels checked i woukd be very suprised if they even changed at all since this is less than a so called homeopathic dosage
its not a microdose, .1 mg per day oral is common in korea. i'm applying half that amount topically
1000 mcg = 1 mg, you know this, yes?

the gyno is real and clearly being caused by finasteride as there is nothing else im using that would cause it. erection quality is fine right now
you people must have tiny heads or something. 2-3 mL is not enough for me for any topical, need 5 mL of liquid for scalp coverage

lets do the math. 0.05mg applied topically results in approximately 0.005-0.01mg going systemic. the skin is a natural barrier, a lot of the finasteride will just evaporate and never pass through the skin. studies and drs suggest 10-20% go systemic so you land at the above quoted dosage. now, keep in mind that various studies have shown zero statistically significant dht inhibition with does sub 0.01mg. that means it is physically impossible to experience side effects at such dosage compared to placebo. sure, this can depend upon the individual as the studies are using a mean, however, you are talking half of that and that is with the generous estimate that 20% goes systemic, recent studies have shown 50-60 fold less systemic finasteride concentration with topical usage. so you have in your system what is effectively a micro dose. nobody needs more than 3ml to cover their scalp and doing this twice a day is so much liquid alcohol for the skin I doubt this is good.
more finasteride is absorbed in my regimen because it is diluted and i use a lot of liquid. my skin isn't sensitive to alcohol, so it doesn't matter. used zix x2 per day at 10-20% alcohol concentration for a year with no issues regarding irritation
the math is fine, but there is no doubt my nips and gyno are more sensitive than they were a week ago. so it is going systemic and causing this. it's amazing how people can blither on about this and that study, what this Dr. said blah blah and in order to ignore proof before one's eyes. Idc what they say mate, finasteride is causing my gyno to act up at this dose lol

i got my blood values from topical finasteride.
estradiol is still high but reduced by about 25% now under the max reference valuem
free Testosterone has increases by 70% and is now the same value as it was without any finasteride
also total testosterone increased by 20% and the shbg decreased by 5%
so my free T have normalozed, estradiol is now within the range but still kind of high(i never got it tested before finasteride so it might just be high, dr says if ts in the range it doesnt matter since this test usually overestimates the value too in men (RSA test)
sadly they did not test the dht even tho i asked them for it. that sould hsve been interesting, after all i might just use a dumb vehicle and nothing gets absorbed anyway.
however i still have impotency despite all these changes which is very strange with a total T at 600 and free T at the higher ramge as well now.
what shoukd i do? reduce the dose to the point where i have no sides and then do another test and see if there is any DHT inhibition? at this point blood tests carry no value because my hormones aside from dht wre probably normal as they were before.

in case anybody cares for updates, I have quit finasteride a week ago due to dangerously worsening erection that would not subside even by cutting the dose really low. I have started to take high doses of Cialis and quit finasteride. however, I have seen nothing but further regression. I feel pain in my penis on the left side, I cannot obtain or hold a solid erection, the blood just seems to leak out. libido seems to be there but erectinos are destroyed. with my luck in all of this I have acquired some tissue level erectile dysfunction which would be kind of hilarious at this dosage. but id commit suicide if that were the case. not sure what to do, im already heavily depressed individual so this will be amazing
Does your penis look any different apart from not getting an erection?
I wouldn't take high doses of Cialis...for what? Just to see what happens, or to actually have sex?
Give it time off finasteride. Let your body adjust. Have you tried supplementing with DIM?

because Cialis is actually good for penile health, its also anti fibrotic and increases nocturnal erections which I do not have. there is no adjusting, my hormones are pretty much back to normal, it seems to me its a tissue specific issue, pretty scary

it does not look different. there is just some kind of internal pain and tension when getting erect and also the erection is dependent on manual stimulation purely it cannot be controlled with just the mind. generally its like blood doesnt stream in properly anymore.
also after 8 days off of topical finasteride I start to see major regression in hairline as well. kind of crazy that the sides continue but the positive effect on hair wears off so ridiculously quickly
