Topical finasteride or dutasteride

Does anyone know of any studies or posters who used finasteride or dutasteride topically with success? and if it does work is it because the drug is systematically absorbed therefore making it's use redundant and the reason why you get 0.01 dosages of finasteride in products like xandrox and promox?

The dosage of finasteride you get in those products is 1mg/mL.... not sure where you got the 0.01 number from.
