Toppik Doesn't Work Anymore. What Would My Date Think?

Haven't been on here for a while. How is everyone doing?

I came out of shower. Dried my hair and found that toppik is no long ok for my hairline. I had to use black eye shadow along with toppik for it to look even remotely convincing.

I'm over a year into spironolactone and 7 months into finasteride. They only gave me vellous hair. I wanted to stick it till the one year mark for finasteride but frankly I can't deal with it anymore.

As a normal human being, I cried. Mostly scared of what the guy I've been dating for 5 months think. There's no way I can take a shower at his. No way we can go on holiday. It will only get worse from here.

Am I latching onto something that will never work? Why is 1 year the magic timeline for a miracle to happen?

The man you have been dating has no clue after 5 months of dating?
Looks like he's either retarded, or you have BDD.
Well, I wouldn't go so far as to call this lucky guy a "retard" but he definitely has a problem staying focused.

I'm pretty good with concealer and I part my hair in a way so he won't be able to tell. I still have a good coverage but very thin. However my hairline is receding fast.

Do you think normal people can spot toppik straight away?

Edit: typo

Forgive me if I sound crude, but doesn't your partner ever mess your hair up during a heated sex session?
Maybe while you've both been drinking, or after watching Judge Judy?

He tried to play with my hair once and I stopped him. Usually we have sex under "mood lightening" so it will be way less obvious than bright day light.

If he's been with you for 5 months then he knows about your hair by now and he's ok with it. You're a good looking girl :)

It's different from a guys perspective. Especially if you're attractive, hairloss on a woman doesn't come across nearly as bad in man's eyes. Now the other way around, us men are repulsive when balding. I wouldn't turn a nice looking lady down if she had some hair issues.

I hear this from guys with hair problems a lot but what about a guy who has no legit hair problem ?

That's all in your head.

Women don't see men with hair loss as repulsive.

If they have a weird face and a larry david hair cut then maybe
