Total T and DHT levels after 1.5 years oral dutasteride

Normal range is between 0.13- 9.06 ng/mL

DHT: 0.59 ng/mL

Normal range is between 0.18- 1.20 ng/mL.

DHT levels seems high enough to keep damaging my hair. Oral dutasteride reduces +90% serum DHT but my values are still on the normal range. How is that possible?

Because you got fake dutasteride. You have no sides even. My sperm is severely affected on dutasteride. I know you got your dutasteride from a pharmacy but it could still be a bad generic. But I read a guy that was on several different types of finasteride and dutasteride and his dht was still high it has something to do how they measure it too I read.

DHT blood test is not the only marker to check efficacy. Plus, hormones fluctuating so much through the day. You really need a high quality test for DHT, but still, according to my research, 3a-Diol-G is so needed as well. Also, always baseline tests!

That is why you have to fight hairs loss at all angles. It's not just about DHT. If dutateride was such a miracle drug for hair loss it would now be the first line of therapy for hair loss but so far it's not.

Hair got thinner No thickening no reduction in hairloss. Now im on a generic dutasteride that i can buy cheap from EU for like 7 months now. Sperm is bad Still.

Yeah.... This sucks. I'll be updating my case in the next months with the new regimen. Idk if i should ditch dutas since it is clearly doing nothing and I'm wasting my money. I might swap to 5mg finas and cut the pills, much cheaper.

Dutasteride has helped me to slow it down I believe. Hairline looks slightly better not thinned out further and front hair looks good as it did a year ago. I lose very Little hair now and itch and burning sensation near crown is totally gone. But my hairloss is complex because hair grow super super slow. So i believe its not just androgens.

I'm thinking on trying finas at 1.25 mg. Can't use Ru right now bro, I just bought bica so I need to try that first. I don't think T is that high tho.
