Tretinoin Enhances Minoxidil Response In Androgenetic Alopecia Patients By Up-regulating Follicular

I've been using minoxidil for six months to try to fill in my temple recession, but it hasn't achieved much so far, so I've just started including Tretinoin cream in my regimen try to improve my results. I apply the cream just to my temples. I use this one from AllDayChemist: https://www.alldaychemist.com/catalog/product/view/id/3318/s/retino-a-cream-05-20gm-tube/
I'm not using the microsphere one. Is there any particular reason why the microsphere one may be superior?Make sure to use the tretinoin that specifically says "Microsphere". I get it from alldaychemist but unfortunately they've been out of the .1% version for over a year now so been using the .04% tretinoin microsphere.
If anyone knows where there is .1% available online would like to know. Might have to go to the derm for a script as I'd like to up my percentage.

I researched this a lot when I first started using it a while ago (10-15 years ago). Can’t recall all the details but from what I do recall the microsphere version is more of a slow release & better for anti-aging purposes. Whereas the gel is typically better suited for acne.I'm not using the microsphere one. Is there any particular reason why the microsphere one may be superior?
I did end up asking my dermatologist for a .1% script & when I went to fill it was $296 for a 20 gram tube. Freaking ridiculous.
alldaychemist had the .1% back in stock a few months ago but took forever to receive in the mail and I believe the heat may have degraded it during delivery as it was very grainy & didn’t have that smooth cream texture. They were awesome & refunded the purchase price within a few days. Hopefully they have back in stock in the fall when weather cools & (hopefully) shipping times shortened.
Does anyone have input as the whether this Tretinoin degrades in heat & ineffective?
