I was in a class for work. As someone told me once, Im not the usual IT guy as my build and personality. Anyway I was talking with 2 girls in the office (not flirting) on two different occasions and BOTH asked me my age. I never play the guess game but decided to.
They both said outright my hair is what throws them off.
The thinning (they wouldnt say out loud) and the greys make me look SO much older. One girl thought I was THIRTY NINE! Then tried the "oh I was over guessing to be safe" line.

Man that sucks.
They said my body and face looked in the 20s and when I said "when I shave my head I look a lot younger" and BOTH snubbed the nose at the thought. One even put their hand on my forehead to try and see what I may look like with a shaved head and politley said "I guess you could still look good".

I mean they were not being mean or nasty or anything like that so its not what Im getting at but man its amazing how much hair really does matter. To think I was debating on shaving my head again..... Neither girl was a superlooker, just average and one was in her 30s actually so youd think they would be used to guys going a bit grey already.
Also I wont dye my hair, I refuse, I honestly stand by that I like some grey hair and would love a full head of thick old man white hair.

I would have asked what my percieved age has anything to do with work... whatsoever and left it at that. I wouldnt have even given them the opportunity to engage in their shallow behaviour.

Two middle aged ladies in my line the other day started to talk to eachother in russian. Then, apologized explaining that they were just being mean. Basically this woman just admitted in front of my face that she was talking **** about my bald head to her friend in russian. All I could do was sneer at her and shake my head.

just look and say "at least Im not russian, who did you have to marry to get here" or "how many strip bars were you whored out in before you escaped into blah blah job"

They werent being mean at all. I think they may have been flirting actually, friendly flirting. I kind of have a chatty affect on people when engaging them. My GF gets infuriated at it to be honest.

Were they actually being mean or just cracking a joke thought thinking you THOUGHT they were being mean already. Look at Russian guys, many are pretty bald

At some point it works to your benefit to shave it. People guess I am 10-12 years younger

I did shave, its NOT a good look. Im not full NW7, Im like a REALLY diffues 5.... ish but its thick hair and long so I can hide it god willing there is no wind.
Plus I had the FUE in front so that helps as well. One day Ill get the back filled in after I pay the first one off fully. Only like 3K left.

Anyway I just thought twice in one day was way to ironic NOT to share.

You incessantly b**ch and moan in here about male pattern baldness, I just dont give a fuk.....laugh as you dopes may, there really is something to shaving embracing and working out, upping your smv....its beta as hell to spend this much time worrying about your hair. Not only that, some of you will wind up shaving anyhow when the hair starts falling out behind the plugs in front.

Come on man. If you don't care, then why are you on this site? Shaving and working out is not embracing anything. Its compensating. At least admit that. You're no better than the people getting transplants etc you're trying to dog. If you really embraced hair loss you'd let your skullet grow and shove that down the worlds throat. But no.. you're gonna spend the rest of your life compensating in easiest form... shaving and working out. That's beta man. You're just trying to fit in.

I don't think swingline was trying to be insulting, just stating fact. Just like when people bring up other celebrities that are "pulling it off", they conveniently leave out the fact that they are rich, famous, and the exception. Most of those guys aren't really handsome at all.

Yeah I just had this somewhere else. "oh look at the rock and statham and vin" fuq those aholes. They are rich and famous. If I was rich and famous Id have those weird niche girls who flock or the HOT supermodels using me to get ahead to.
Are there girls who will find me attractive with a shaved head..... sure.... but the chances of finding them are unreal, and then they would probably just hang out long enough until they saw my brother who HAS HAIR. When you are a celebrity you are flaunted to the masses so those oddball psyco b****s all get to see you in one swoop and the internet is flocked with them saying "oh that celeb is hot". This makes it appear that they are when in reality its just that they are seen in mass. Were they Joe Every Guy walking down the street most women wouldnt look twice as they are all pretty much goofy and ugly. Vin looks like a god dammed retard. Statham has a fuqing bull dozer for a chin and forhead. The rock is reasonable but hes 6-5 and then you get Bruce Willis who is simply a hollywood icon. Honestly I have never heard ONE WOMAN outright say they find him attractive without being specifically asked about him. When asked about hot celebrities no "attractive" women picks bruce willis randomly.

Well it's actually nice that those girls were being honest. Much better that then a man being oblivious before **** hits the fan. As you say, they were flirting a little but not in a mean way.

Grey hair is never a big deal unless in early 20s. I've seen people in their 40s, full head of hair, looking jacked and doing well with the ladies.

This weekend I went to an small riverside festival. All the guys who do socially well, girls and so on, had pretty much full hair with a cool hairstyle. From ages 20-50. You could just tell from their mannerisms, the crowd around the, body language e.t.c.

because they have that nonchalant confidence. When you have hair you have no worries so you are just sittin coooooooool. Everyone wants to hang with the lax good looking folks. They only want the bald guys when they need something to poke at or someone as back up in a fight.

Yes. The confidence is a by product of looking good. Sure I witnessed some bald guys with facial hair being confident, but I also didn't think they looked great and I am sure most girls wouldn't glance a second look at them. I don't buy all this "intense bald bullying and laughing" stuff generally, but I do believe bald people get overlooked. They are almost invisible when it comes to social worth.

A cuteish girl had her head shaved in Wolf of Wall street, she looked hideous bald. Features out of proportion. A bald girl is not only rare but also far worse off than a bald guy.

Get that crown transplant brother, then you're good to go with fullish hair, nice body.

when you say "social worth", do you mean how much he is worth on the dating market?

cuz i do think bald men are more respected for certain leadership positions, like teachers, professors and doctors. i think its fair to say most people would feel more comfortable being operated on by a baldie than a male model type, just cuz having no hair makes you look older and wiser and such

Be a man for once in your life. Buzz, and work out, then tell me your life hasn't changed ten fold.

Jersey dude is right. Most of you need to stop acting so submissive, and weak.

working out and getting jacked because your bald is not a bad thing i agree. u think a guy at a bar is gonna make fun of u for being bald while u are 200lbs + jacked as fuk. if ur jacked u can easily go up to the girl that 160lb nw0 is talking to. he will literally have to fuk off i guarantee 8/10 times he will turn beta, and u will be left talking to the woman, as long she is interested in you somewhat but thats where personality comes in. I'd bet a million dollars even if someone like the wreslter n actor the rock johnson was not famous or rich he would still get many woman

I can tell you're getting better over all this, I know it's hard. Social worth, I just meant in terms of "cool mates/girls" with them. Nothing beyond that.

You're right for those kind of jobs which don't involve something like face to face sales, it makes zero difference being bald. I reckon though if there were twin doctors who behaved the same friendly way with their patients, one was shaven and the other Norwood 1, the Norwood 1 guy would have slightly better feedback. It's not a big deal or anything, both doctors would be respected and seen positively but I feel the one with a hairstyle would look more like a memorable person and a personal touch to his consultations. Patients would identify even more with him. Again, it's a very small thing but something I believe imo that happens on a subconscious level. I may be wrong.

I would say an old doctor with some recession like Norwood 2.5-3, with an old school side parting would look much wiser than a bald guy. But yeah baldness later on can add maturity too for sure.

I hope you get some coverage one day for your hair.
