Know what in a year? A release date? Gtfo, you know nothing. There isn’t anything released that is of any worth. Nothing definitive has been released, it’s just you assuming and hoping like the fools in the Italian lotion thread.
We should know by mid 2019 if their method yields satisfactory results or not, as long as they commence the trial right on time (March 2019).

Im just worried about the amount of years leading up to this and how much hair would have been lost by then. Theres still many questions around it, its not 100% that'll it'll come out. If it does obviously amazing for us all but leading up to that could be a long, long wait. Like some people have mentioned its not going to be like ok all phases are complete now its available to everyone. It will take many many years before we can just book ourselves in for an appointment and get this done.

I’d have to see it to believe it. PM me a pic of your head please.

There you go.

My problem is that my hair is thinning behind the transplant. Unfortunately my body / system is too sensitive for finasteride and min.

I had the transplant 5-6 years ago thinking “surely there will be a better treatment out in 5-6 years”... sigh...

Sure it’s not perfect like my real hair was when I was in my 20s but it is MY hair and it’s a million times better than a wig and a hell of a lot better than what it looked like before the transplant.

If tsuji treatment does work then I think a legit option for people my age (40) that don’t want to wait for “the cure” than getting a hairline transplant (fue or fut) and then a tsuji treatment for density is going to be good enough.

Oh man, I really hate to be tha- well, no I don't but honestly...

Even though that's a blurry picture, that does not look good at all IMO. Shookwun would be an example of a good transplant if he steps in at some point to this thread.

You still look balding, but with like a bizarre pattern. It's the hair near the temples that really gives it away.

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but as far as proving "natural" results or better than 90s transplants, this isn't a great example

is the area in the red where you have your hair transplant? you only got your temples done and now the rest has receded?

to me you would look far more normal without those hairs there

it would just look like a high hairline but perfectly natural for a 40 year old

It's been shown, even by similar methods being researched, that it is possible to control many aspects of the hair that results from the cells.

So I'm sure they'll have no trouble creating a natural-looking hairline.
@That Guy have I been conceptualizing thing all wrong? Everyone is talking about it likes an hair transplant. Isn’t it hair germ injections? In which case this would allow for a much more dense packing than with a transplant, no?

It will definitely be better than a transplant.

But it will be done by transplants surgeons at the start, using a similar insertion method that conventional transplants use, but with cells.

That's prob where the confusion is coming from

So are we all just going off assumptions and “the science in it makes sense” with Tsuji and hair cloning? I mean, what definitive evidence do we have this will work let alone be released as early as 2020?

Don’t get me wrong, I think this is the only logical “cure” but I’ve seen nothing but assumptions from the scientist doing the research.

lol those are my natural curls flopping down - bad choice of pic from me late at night.

The thing is I style that left or right and it’s been fine for over 5 years. Now though it’s starting to catch up on me from the back too.

Do I want more? Of course!
Could it be better? Of course!
Am I depressed and want my hair back? Of course!

The thing is, if I had say another 1-2k grafts and had a tsuji treatment of another 1-2k grafts / hairs. I’d be happy.

I’ve had heaps of casual flings over the years and nobody has ever noticed. My now partner had no idea until I told her.

My point is that this looks better to me than the toy doll look of the 90s the original poster was talking about. And given today’s standards I’m pretty sure we don’t need to worry about that specifically :p

lol I see the error of my image, those are curls flopped down which is a separate issue entirely :p

My point is that hair transplants including mine are waaaaaaaay more awesome than this look from the dawn of hair transplant surgery.

Damn I felt like such a stud with a full head of hair. Since 18 I used to buzz it #3 clippers but once I reached 24/25 I noticed middle of scalp was thin. Then hairline started receding. F*ck. It's about almost 5 years now so the shock of horror is over and it's just a part of life now. But to have a full head of hair again would be like a second lease on life in a lot of ways.

I dread the idea of having to go to job interviews being a NW7 and being in my late 20s early 30s. God the humiliation. Guys more than twice my age woth glorious heads of hair. Yea realizing I was balding was my true first taste of the unfairness of life. God speed Tsuji

You’ve never seen a realistic transplant result before?

Only from like 2 doctors.

And I don't think anyone here understands what i'm talking about.

Like have you ever seen someone with a hair transplant, you ever seen their hairline? I'm talking about even today. Like you know they got a hair transplant even if they don't tell you.

Like idk who Matthew McConaughey's hair transplant doctor is, but those are exceptional results. hair transplant's don't usually look like that. It's so rare to see someone with a hair transplant and you can't tell.
