Using Rogaine and 1.25mg Finasteride for 6 months now and...

I am starting to experience some shedding. Not as bad as it was before I started using both products, nor as RIGHT when I started using them. But, after 6 months on this regimen, I am losing much more hair than normal. Does this happen at times?

Good to know I'm not the only one, haha. Otherwise, I've been getting great results, and even with this period of shedding my hair still looks better, so I am happy. Just a bit concerned (especially since I'm switching pills from CVS to Duane Reade, and I always get worried that for some reason the pharmacist messed up... then I realized I could sue if they did, so I'm okay).

Take finasteride allone

If I take finasteride alone won't I lose everything that I gained during these 6 months? Because aside from this latest period of shedding, my hair looks great. That spot on my crown is getting a bit bigger, which is worrisome. It's not bad yet, but my hair is approaching the same levels it was at 3 months ago, which is disconcerting.

Now also, taking finasteride, I'm just curious - should it be done on an empty stomach? Or does that not matter?
