Got Rogaine foam and Nizoral tonight at the supermarket. Tomorrow I'm going to get a haircut and take "beginning of regimen" pictures.

As for the finasteride, I guess I could skip the Derm visit, but cutting a pill up into equal pieces seems iffy, one day I could get 125% of the dosage and another I could get like 70%. If there were a way to make sure the pieces are equal, then I'd seriously consider it.

How do you insure EQUAL PIECES if you go the "cut up the pill" route?

it doesn't matter lol. as long as you're taking a total of 5 mg every 4 or 5 days it doesn't matter. i mean try to get them as close as possible but if you end up with 2 big pieces and 3 little ones it won't make a dime bit of difference. it takes a few days for the 5ar levels to go back up again after a dose of proscar.

Okay, well, for better or worse I'm committed to this. This will be my regimen, as soon as I can get a script for proscar.

The 5-year propecia clinical trials that I've read said that if you don't respond in 12-18 months, you prob you won't.

Like I said, I'll take the beginning pics tomorrow after the haircut. I might start a new MY STORY thread because of the BS that cropped up at the beginning of this one.

Get a pill cutter at your local pharmacy or ebay in order to make sure your pills have the equal size.
