It would be permanent fix if they arent stressed/inflammed. So I do believe those who said they kept gains after stopping, but obviously some dontAnd thats what i've been saying. Why are you even arguing over this then?

You CAN NOT maintain with needles alone. Just can't. You will lose all you progress in 3-4 months after stopping minoxidil. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional newb or a scammer that sells "vitamins".All that aside. What are/were your results like?
What's your current hair like?are you still needling? I'm not sure myself, since I started Minoxidil about a month before I started to roll it in. Did my second serious session with the Derminator yesterday. Definitely seeing regrowth, but unsure which is causing it. I won't know until I am satisfied with my results, if they occur, and wean myself off min and just maintain with needles. And see if it works. I'm hopeful but skeptical. I have a hard science background so it's my nature.
No dumbass, I don't think its necessary is what I'm sayingSo basically you got no results then? Why so angry?

Ok ok, maybe it works for lucky .1%. Happy?"Just can't."
That's exactly what I mean. Your idea you can't keep it is based on nothing but your opinion
Hypochondriacs like layabout. He is on min, then claims min did nothing and its all needling.Dumbass several have made gains without minxodil.
What scam are these people running that do needling without the poison minoxidil?
None at all
Well he said he tried minoxidil with no results, then got results after needling. Seems like a no brainer TO MEHypochondriacs like layabout. He is on min, then claims min did nothing and its all needling.
I'm not disputing that needling enhances other treatments. That's my opinion of it. I'm disputing claim that needling maintains/regrows on its own.Well he said he tried minoxidil with no results, then got results after needling. Seems like a no brainer TO ME

All i know is i dermaneedled for a year before, stopped main treatment and still lost ALL gains in 3-4 months. Good thing is, you get those gains back quicker when you hop back on. So i do think needling reverses fibrosis, but not on its own.so you beleive reversing fibrosis doesnt cure balding?
What do you think is the cause of balding?
I highly doubt DHT is the cause of balding. DHT does not magically attacks the follicles and kills them.
Im pretty convinced its the scalp fibrosis that prevents circulations to feed follicles. then they get dormant/hidden because of how small they get, they dont die.
which is why you can reverse it with needling + min or even needling alone longterm for some people.
If you dont agree with what i said, please do us a favor and tell us your theory about the cause of male pattern baldness and also tell us what would be the best way to cure/delay or solve it.
So if it isn't DHT, then why do 80% of men eventually lose hair in a different pattern and a much higher rate than women. Most likely hormonalso you beleive reversing fibrosis doesnt cure balding?

DHT causes fibrosis, yes, but not because genes => activate DHT. On top of this, if hair follicles were destroyed, it makes no sense how minxodil would restore them, a simple vasodilatorSo if it isn't DHT, then why do 80% of men eventually lose hair in a different pattern and a much higher rate than women. You lost gains because your inflammation returned and cut back what you gained. If you didn't have inflammation you would keep the hair into your old ageAll i know is i dermaneedled for a year before, stopped main treatment and still lost ALL gains in 3-4 months. Good thing is, you get those gains back quicker when you hop back on. So i do think needling reverses fibrosis, but not on its own.
Or more like it doesnt reverse fibrosis fully. You are still left with damaged follicles.
But you said you heard of people who keep gains even after stopping dermaneedling. What gives? Did i do something wrong? You lost gains because your inflammation returned and cut back what you gained. If you didn't have inflammation you would keep the hair into your old age
How did you lose gains several times over a year if needling gives no gains?Because i stopped several times. How long have u been dermaneedling? You have ur own experiences to contribute or u just parrot what you read here?
how were people in 2014 following the study most of us are following from 2017I'm not a skeptic. I'm and have been dermaneedling for more than a year. You think this is the first dermaneedling thread? Check out what happened to others years before it. They had these same exact studies too.
Edit: from 2014

I take it you aren't very bright, maybe an extra chromosome too. Your 2017 study is just a repeat of older studies. Same set up, same ingridents.how were people in 2014 following the study most of us are following from 2017
Because I used other real treatment in conjunction with needling. Every time i stopped the real treatment, i lost ALL gains. Not over 1 year, over several. I gave an example where i stayed on real treatment for 1 whole year and took a break after that. How did you lose gains several times over a year if needling gives no gains?
