I had good coverage up front and a little thin in the crown area at the time.

I wanted to try the buzz cut smp route.

So I gave temporary smp a go.

No it doesn't look bad,it's very gradual.

When it didn't really do the job I wanted it to do I went back to fue.

I'm pretty happy now. The smp was back in 2013. I had a 3000 fue in 2014 I'm very happy with results.

This is only my experience.Other people may be happy with smp.

If you go for it you have to be prepared to shave down to skin only. It's a big commitment to keep shaving with a razor.

I was on the big 3. I got off finasteride because of sides. Still on the other 2.

I have had a lot of work done.its been a long road but happy now.

yeh but i think its a bad idea overall

i am headed for a f*****g norwood 7 (which seems rear as f***). but my hairloss is relatively slow in that i dont expect to get there for another ten years or so when im in my 40s

i cant handle meds either

so an idea would be to do small fue sessions over the next ten years as well as temp smp, and hope to god some of this new tech stuff comes out by then. otherwise im fucked and will be forced to shave to the bone because i wont have enough donor to fill in the balding gaps

im kinda stuck in no mans land here at my current nw4/5 stage.

im very tempted to just try the f*****g smp for a laugh

If you wanted to give it a go I would definitely go for temporary smp. Just like I did and see if it works for you.

Please don't write off fue in your case.

You can use beard hair and your donor hair to make up big numbers of grafts.

I have been through everything possible in the transplant area.

They look shockingly bad. The artist pulls of the shaved look but not the SMP which looks ridiculous on him. He would also look much better with hair as we know. But since he has a masculine face, darker eyebrows and thick dark stubble, he can pull off the bald look. As for the other guy: that's how a shaved head looks on a beta faced guy.

Everyone should stay away from all SMP unless it's done by Milena Lardi (or someone trained by her).

It's temporary and she knows what she's doing, less is more and having some hair for 3D effect helps a lot.

SMP on a bare scalp is like using dermmatch on a NW6, silly-looking and obvious.

how does it look if just thinning and not shaved?

I would imagine it looks like dots on scalp if people look close or you part hair.
