My moma always said faith is a gift. I didn't know what she was talking about until I realized people like you - some have a hard time being a believer. But like anything else in life it takes work, and homework, and dedicating time to the study of it. Then the graces of the Holy Spirit may come up you - it's a process and a life journey.
