Like i've said i have had really really good success with minoxidil the past 5 years (i did take finasteride for 2 years prior). Although now its starting to plateau.

You may want to try minoxidil first mate. Easy to order Regain online. Just apply it once a day.

I really don't want to spend loads of money to put sticky foam/cream on my head every day to "maybe" get alright results. I don't even wash my hair that often, especially every day!

I suppose I could give it a shot, but it's too expensive

Hey peeps,

Went for the dive last night and took a quarter (0.25).

I am going to EOD for a while and if I get sides off that small dosage then I will drop it and stop taking it. I know my body, and if something doesn't feel right or it's affecting me and my normal day living then I will stop.

When I took it, I must have felt the placebo effect, but I felt a bit dizzy and spaced out? Went away quickly though. I feel fine today.

I am very healthy as well, so I'll keep that up and try to see wether this drug is meant for me.

I have taken alot of DHT increasers, novedex xt and letro etc and my hair after DHT damage has always after a year or two, grown back! Sometimes even thicker...

I am going to order some topical spironolactone and use that 2 times a week or so and use 100% natural shampoo

I was going to suggest you take 0.5mg for a week then step up to 1mg. I am looking to take this approach.

Getting dizzy over 0.25mg? I think thats all in your head dude!!

Build up to 0.5 and see how you go. I didn't notice any sides whilst on finasteride except for anxiety, however, it may have not been directly from finasteride.

Yeah, I felt a bit weird. Probably I knew I took it. Yeah I have read that 0.25mg is effenciently enough EOD. Also asked the Doctor and he said thats fine.

Yeah, I get anxiety anyways, so I reckon I may get some.

See how I go! I'll keep on this dosage for as long as I can and if it works without affecting my life, then I will soldier on

Ok, guys, just an update.

I am on finasteride 0.25mg EOD and have been been for nearly 2 weeks. Decided it to it but didn't want to post anything yet.

No sides. Sexually I am still great! I am even testing myself every day =P and no problems and no watery semen. I know all you negative shills are going to say "oh, just wait the sides will come and get worse etc etc" but things are looking ok at this stage. I realise I am on a low dose but hey, I am going into this drug slowly.

The only thing I notice is it feels like It kicks in. Like I know I have taken it, feel a bit weird (drowsy?) and then goes away. I can't explain it, but yeah I'll monitor it, doesn't bother me in the slightest but I suppose this is what everyone talks about "brain fog" which I don't really necessarily believe in, because I'm still sharp and can still focus at work. Oh and I am taking it at night

Maybe I keep posting here? I like to keep a positive attitude while trailing this. Taking it with a open mind

Keep posting mate.

I am back on the finasteride myself. Taking 0.5 - 1mg daily. Looking to give it 6-12 months with minoxidil and nizoral.

I'm afraid that the "I can feel it" part is due to the placebo effect, since you know you took it and you're looking for sides.

Honestly, the best way to go about it is to put the thought of sides out of your mind. You will know if you get real sides (lack of libido, ED, etc), but all the obsessing will make you find something that's not even there.

Voice of experience here. I've been on it for over 3 years, but I still stress out from time to time about it. I've worried myself about gyno, lack of libido, inability to hit REM sleep, and depression. Each and every time I realized within a day or so that I was just overthinking the issue (stress, sleeping in a full bed with my wife, extra workouts, etc).

Good luck!!
