Really? Where abouts in the UK do you live? Surely it depends, I live in Scotland so I would imagine that the water is pretty pure?? Yet you see a lot of bald people in Scotland.
Baldness is caused by foods you eat aswell those chemicals and hormones added to them change your geneic coding, in regards to the water it was causing me alopecia areata patches go back on the Devine herbal thread and look for my posts I posted pictures as proof etc. I live in London, the water here is very hard and harsh full of chemicals and lime scale.

All right I've been doing some research in trying to find the best shower filter for an apartment. I only found 1 shower filter that also works in removing flouride, which is a zeolite shower filter http://www.welovesuperfoods.com/zeolite-shower-filter.html
I also saw a review site that did some tests to see how much chlorine these filters actually remove...Most in the tests did around 35% even though they claimed over %90. Only the Sprite model and Vitashower which uses a Vitamin C filter were 99% effective. http://home.roadrunner.com/~reviewguy/shower_filter_test_results.html
Here is a quote from another site saying why Vit. C filters aren't good. " In addition, the Vitamin C Shower filter creates Hydrochloric acid. The way it works is that Vitamin C + Chlorine and Water = HC1 (Hydrochloric Acid). The water out of the filter will test negative for chlorine but will test positive for strong HC1. Do you want to bathe in Hydrochloric acid? " http://www.discountjuicers.com/showercompare.html On amazon, people reprt good reults with vitashower (other then the plastic breaking sometimes). Here is another review that might help http://www.reactual.com/home-and-garden/toiletries/shower-filters-2011.html

I'm actually considering to buy the zeolite filter and use a Sprite shower head with built in filtering.
