well i already have a degree, decent job, etc.

for me hair loss is a massive huge problem, the biggest problem i have.
as i am single, i wanted a wife and kids but due to my male pattern baldness i can't get a wife.
(hair loss hasn't stopped me from getting a job or anything like that, it is purely problems with the ladies)

i don't have too high standards either, i just want a woman who has normal - slightly chubby BMI; they don't have to be supermodels.
i am attracted to normal looking women.
unfortunately as a bald guy the only girls interested in me are fatties (massive ones), and i just couldn't spend my life or even sleep with someone i am not attracted to.

So no family, no kids all due to hair loss.
meditation and all that poo poo isn;t going to grow my hair back.
i am saving my cash for a hair transplant but even a hair transplant with great surgeons sometimes can only bring back thin wispy hair.
that "poo poo" = 6+ full heads finally being rational and realizing they have nothing holding them back but their mindset

meanwhile baldie does the same and starts going after women only to get rejected. gets made fun of and laughed at.

The “real problem” in the west is finding purpose. Most people, by necessity, work unfulfilling jobs. What used to make that tolerable was having a loving family. People are now told they can indefinitely postpone having a family in order to pursue materialistic pleasure instead. This has led to the crisis of unhappiness (“depression”) we have in the west.

We have far too much time to ponder things like hair loss and other ultimately superficial matters.
I'd rather have the option to indulge in materialistic and hedonistic pursuits than to be tied to some ancient religion while working like a slave to ensure that my wife and 6 kids are well fed.

My time is more important.

Don't pull out the old autism line. It's not the first time I've heard that one.

Anyway if I want to indulge in trivial, self-centred activities that only please me than I am free to do just that.
Thanks to the U.S. constitution and the founding fathers.

Religion and traditional values like the nuclear family have no place in my world and their is no state law dictating otherwise.

God bless America!

i want a wife and kids but i see all around me, people who have a wife and children and who are not happy. people who shouldn't have had kids in the first place.
like one of my friends wanted to travel the world on his motorcycle, go to rock gigs, have adventures etc. well his girlfriend pressured him into having children and now to support his children he works a shitty hard stressful office/phone job; 6 days a week he gets up at 6am to go to work, comes home at 6pm exhausted, and has 2 screaming and fighting toddlers to look after when he comes back. he says all he wants is some peace and quiet occasionally but he can't have it. he never plays with his kids which is kinda sad really it makes them even more loud and shouty.
he doesn't enjoy it and has gotten really fat and has psoriasis from stress because of it (he still has an ultra thick NW1 though, excellent hair genes)

it makes me appreciate being foreveralone somewhat, i come home from work at 4pm and have a lot of alone time to relax in.
i'd still rather a wife with a nice shape, children which even if they were loud i would spend hours playing with them.
but ofc nobody wants kids with a BALD man who can't pull off the bald look.

Nobody wants kids with a BALD man. It doesn't matter whether you can pull off the look or not.

Feel you, man. We're on the same boat here. I already have more than enough money saved for a hair transplant but I just can't do it. I just don't think I have enough donor hair to get a good transplant, my hair quality is too fine overall. I got like 50k saved and a 4000 graft hair transplant in Holland costs about 5.5k so it's not about the money. If I was to get a hair transplant I'd get a decent coverage everywhere else but on the crown so I could keep my hair closely buzzed and maintain the illusion of having hair. I wouldn't even dream of something that could be grown out.

The God I believe in is one of an esoteric concept, that no-one would understand.
1. If you are so patriotic don't you think it would be beneficial to have children and pass on your values for the sake of America?
2. To say no one wound understand your religious views implies you know billions of people.
It's not at all surprising I'm not the first person to suggest you are autistic.

The whole forum thinks I'm autistic so this holds no weight, in fact I enjoy being autistic as I can maintain focus easier.

Yes I am patriotic about the two countries I love and I encourage every American along with every Australian to procreate for the good of our great nations.

The best advice I can give a young couple starting a family is that a strong family should constitute both a mother and a father.
Young men need a father figure to look to for guidance and also provide discipline when necessary

That along with a respect for the flag and our militaries and I believe you can't go wrong.
So I encourage these values.

I just don't particularly want this pathway myself, as appealing as it sounds.
I prefer a more hedonistic and experimental lifestyle.

Fair enough but increasingly more and more people do not understand the concept of patriotism thus those who are patriotic should be the ones to procreate if this characteristic is to be maintained.

health is the most important one

I've diagnosed with chronic degenerative diseases this year like Ehlers-Danlos and Chiari malformation and mostly stopped care about hairloss because it's nothing comparing to those

I had some real issues in the past, but all of them seemed to be more manageable than hairloss. You can overcome most illnesses, but you are not coming out with a full head of hair with this one and that's really gonna affect your life.

That sh*t really destroys your mojo, which is the quintessential fuel to deal with all the other bullshit life throws at you. What could be more important than your quality of life...I take chronic backpain, that is manageable with some oxycodon over being disfigured any day.

Some people would argue that balding is a piece of cake compared to being ugly

Newsflash: Many people become pretty ugly thanks to balding.

This might be even harder to accept because you were not born with it and it can happen figuratively over night, practically acting as a mild form of disfigurement.

Of course there are way worse things in this life, but I reckon people who talk about 'the real problems', don't struggle with f*****g Noma.

Being genetically ugly is worse than being "ugly" because of balding but with otherweise solid genetics. You can always try to do something about it by taking finasteride or getting a transplant and you even got a chance to look decent like a teacher in my school who looks good despite of his NW4 and he's definitely no Chad or male model. That's where I basically disagree with you. Many people become ugly because of balding... sure, they look more unattractive but if they look legitimately ugly, then they were already ugly in the first place.
