What Happened To Shiseido? Was It Another Failure?

The injected area is a fraction of the crown.
C'mon, people, get it together.

I think you misread what I wrote. It was a rhetorical question. Still doesn’t indicate if the increase in hair density was concentrated around the injection site.

C’mon people get it together.

Ollie, friend, work it out.
Why would they count the hair density in any other place on the scalp?
And no, it was not a rhetorical question.
I hope third time will be the charm.

If someone says 5% increase in hair density it means the whole area. If within 1cm next to the injection site there was a larger increase than the 5% then it gives more hope to how they plan efficacy trials based on injection quantity . And more hope for us.

If you've looked at any of their infographics, the idea of the injection is for the cells to migrate under the scalp to surrounding areas.

I see however we're getting stuck on this. Lets argue on another topic another time.

Maybe someone ask / tweet Lee Buckler regarding this ?

anyway, I would bet that, they measure / count within 1-2cm diameter from the inject spot, that is also where they did a trichogram anlysis.

This is not up for discussion.
They counted a specific area around the injected spot.
That's the fact.
Your absurd misinterpretation is just indicative of how dumb you are and nothing more.

He’s not stupid by any measure. He’s actually quite a cluey guy, and also a genuinely nice person. No need to attack him, he’s just speculating about things as we all are. No need for the insults.

This week, RepliCel released a list of near-term catalysts over the next 15 to 18 months:

  • Anticipated announcement of clinical results from the Shiseido-funded pattern baldness study in Japan;
  • Commercial-grade prototypes of the dermal injector built and available for clinical and functional testing;
  • Launch of clinical testing of the injector at select clinical sites for limited clinical applications;
  • CE Mark of the dermal injector to be followed by a new level of commercial partnership discussions;
  • Registration of the RCI-02 CE Mark in Hong Kong for a commercial launch of the dermal injector by YOFOTO;
  • A decision from Shiseido on if and when it intends to launch of the RCH-01 in Japan;
  • Data from the gene marker identification study continuing at University of British Columbia;
  • Receipt of grant financing to finance further product development;
  • Completion of YOFOTO's manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China;
  • Completion of technology transfer of the two licensed cell therapy programs to YOFOTO;
  • Guidance from Chinese regulators on approvals for clinical trials of RCS-01 (skin rejuvenation) and RCT-01 (tendon regeneration) in China;
  • A designation from Chinese regulators for the RCI-02 (dermal injector) in mainland China.

There is nothing to speculate about, Georgette.
He's making assumptions because he wishes the result be better.
I get the wishful thinking part, but it's very clear how the efficacy was measured. Yet, he stubbornly refuses to accept reality.
Excuse me, but that is dumbness in its finest.

not trying to sound discouraging but even IF this gets launched it will be at least 5 years until we can get ours hands on it. we as people from outside of japan, I am not sure if it will even be available for us

Not sure whether you are aware or not, the reason why the Japanese government loosen the law for regenerative medicine, is because 1) they are aging as f*** and 2) they want to turn into a medical center and make money from medical tourism.

They know pretty well that Mr US / EU is far far away from this goal.

Im not making assumptions in hope of better results, im making speculations based off the lack of detail they left out in their written findings.

Shooting down vague unproven speculation doesn’t make you more intellegient you dumb f***. In the meantime we’ll all wait on a single post from you that’s sole purpose isn’t merely a self inflicting ego boost.

Pointing out one's dumbness is not an ego boost. It's mostly frustation for the dumbness itself, I read every day in the threads I'm interested in.
(Also, I have lots, lots of free time, unfortunately)
