hi bluemoon. this thread has inspired me to try to restart minoxidil and add dutasteride in at the same time. could you please tell me your regimen? how much dutasteride a day or week. and should i cut out the finasteride when i start dutasteride? what dod you do? i already ordered dutasteride and got myself some rogaine foam today

Just .5mg of dutasteride and 1ml of liquid minoxidil daily. No need to take finasteride with dutasteride at all.

I always stagger my doses. Pill every third day for a week, then every other day, etc. until you reach the fill dosage. No sides to speak of except a few forehead blemishes when I first started, which could've been minoxidil for all I know.

Just an update. Not really bothered by the baldness anymore. Frontal third is turning mostly terminal. Intermediate hairs still shedding and sh*t. Hope they grow back stronger. Prolly gonna get a transplant from Rahal later in the year to bring me back to Norwood 1 territory. So... Yeah! That's about it! Nothing's changed on my treatments.

Some people get great results combining finasteride and duta, minoxidil then is the icing on the cake.

Still no sides. I've been on dutasteride for over a year, so I'm pretty sure I'm in the clear. Some turned terminal. I still have a ton of intermediate hair that is shedding like crazy right now.

I've never used the foam, so I can't speak to if efficacy. Most say the liquid works better, but I'm not sure to what degree. The liquid makes it difficult to style your hair during the day, so I usually put it on at night and wear a beanie to sleep.

Looks great. Have you considered zix? I used to be on f'in and minoxidil 12 years ago, but dropped it. I have used zix, which has basically saved my hair since. It's zinc and b6 you mix yourself. I wonder if you combined it with your current treatments if you would have enhanced results.

Anyhow you look great, I guess don't fix what ain't broke.
