I would avoid coming to the US unless you work for a top tier company making a ton of $, or are studying some specialized PhD at a top university.

It is common to be depressed now. People are stuck somehow, all those restrictions and new rules don't make it any better. Some of them are struggling to pay their utility bills. I used to work for north american power company and our reviews where always very good, look now - https://north-american-power.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, the picture is a little different. And people still work as hard as before, but the whole climate in a country changed everything.

I also live in Germany. My family moved here when I was a child.

I think Germany is an extremely pleasant country to live in, and the people are wonderful. I think the Germans have a remarkable sense of camaraderie and are a warm-hearted, curious, and welcoming people.

I think they have less spontaneity about them than people from the USA, which has both positive and negative aspects.

I also really appreciate that the Germans have truly grappled with the demons of their past, FAR more so than so many other nations.

And of course, Germany has a fantastic tradition of literature, poetry, science and engineering.

Overall, I am most grateful to the people of this great and glorious nation. My main gripe? I'd say the German sense of humour isn't quite as good as that of my native people ;) But I can live with that.

You do sound like a retard. You’re 23 and you think the US is actually like the movies lol I hope you’re wealthy because they’ll leave you on the street to bleed if you don’t have health insurance, or take you to court afterwards. You sound like all the K-pop addicting retards coming over to Korea and realizing it’s not a music video. Be grateful for what you have. Germany is a cool country.

You are like the charicarture of a blue pilled, kool aid jugging NPC. You don't just jug the kool aid, you inject it into your veins. I will never have to ask you for your personal opinion, as long as I am able to open page 1 of buzzfeed and Vice magazine.

It's hard to even find someone who matches you in terms of clicheeness when it comes to your world view, apart from maybe an overweight, purple haired, man-hating feminist who smells like cat piss. Well done.
