You guys need to give up hoping and move on with your lives. Sadly I used to be glued to the forums, hoping and waiting. Every year, a new hope, a new product. Every year, disappointment and more disappointment. I maybe come here once a month now just out of curiosity. Guess what? I just see history repeating itself. It’s been happening on these forums probably since 2000.
Scientific development is not a repeating phenomenon where failures lead to infinite failures to follow. At some point, hair cloning that produces satisfactory and successful new heads of hair is going to be a thing. Whether it's in 2 years or 200 hundred years, nobody can say for sure, but the odds are much more with a timeframe like the former.

Yup, but no time soon. Not within the next 5 years. Maybe in the next 10... Will it be affordable? Nope. So best to move on. Unless you are very rich, there is no hope for anyone here anytime soon. That's just the way it is.

I don't really understand or necessarily believe this. A topical antiandrogen that is effective for hair loss and doesn't cause side effects and there's supposedly no money to be made from it?

You say that RU doesn't show system effects...can it go systemic? Oh and how much roughly would RU be per month and where do people get it?

Safety wise CB seems preferable... i think about things like fertility and even how it could affect others like a partner if it rubs off on bedding, sofas etc...so anything which can't go systemic is great. But those 12 month CB results really don't seem too promising if after just twelve months results fall below baseline (and quite substantially it seems if only used once per day).

People always tend to overestimate the value of what they themselves are interested in. Most people are happy just popping a pill once a day; they aren't looking for an additional topical to rub on their heads unless it provides far superior results. Of course RU has the potential to go systemic, it's just not necessarily going to go systemic. CB is definitely a safer choice from that standpoint, but less effective.
