another amazing way to cope with hairloss are the arts..

music or visual..

even just listening to music, or playing drums for me. I play drums in a couple of bands, When i'm on stage i don't give a flying sh*t what anyone thinks of my hairloss, i'm up here, I know and love what I am doing, they are in the crowd.

I will forever have the rock n roll dream.... Some of the best drummers in the world are bald... chris pennine from dillinger escape plan/coheed & Cambria is bald, didn't stop him on his way! :)

if you listen to music or play video games or drink that will make you forget about the problem, but it will ALWAYS be there so the best thing to do is take pleasure in the basic things where your image is not affected enjoying that part of your life experience.

even people with ACTUAL REAL deformities lead happy lives and make do with themselves in some manner, and plenty of NW1s hate there lives and kill themselves, it's all about perspective. :)

but the problem with male pattern baldness is people ADJUST their lives to it and thus it is affecting them, staying in and playing videos games all day and avoiding girls is NOT coping with the situation and will leave you in hell the longer you do this.

so plan your Hair loss solution and while you wait for the next transplant or hairpiece focus on trying to achieve some level of happyness by doing things where your self image makes no difference like music listening or video game playing.

Guys, just find a Salsa class.. you'll get to meet loads of girls and "a man that can dance" is a big plus with a lot of women!

I enjoy sports and the arts as pastimes, but at 24, most of my friends are still going to bars and nightclubs and I no longer let my hairloss stop me from enjoying this either.

I used to find this kind of environment quite intimidating and often depressing, but lately I've transformed my attitude and outlook and it's certainly reaping dividends with the ladies, despite my dodgy looking hair.

The "The Flow" by Dan Bacon, has really helped me in this department, it has certain chapters about chat-up lines and "openers" which are just plain silly and cringeworthy, but it also has chapters about adopting positive mindsets and inner self belief, and body language which have really helped me in all areas of life, not just girls. I no longer fear rejection by females and have become immune to nasty remarks about my hair.

Also Brightside, I agree Salsa is a must for any man :hump:
