Another memorable horror movie produced for TV is 'Salem's Lot, based again on a S. King book. And by this I mean the original movie of 1979, not the remake of 2004. Even though it is based solely on make-up and costumes (no special effects then!), the development of the story and the performances are so good that make it, in my opinion, the scariest vampire movie in existence. Very underrated in imdb.
