In high school. Not only did they laugh. Random people would look at my hairline instead of looking into my eyes.

LOL 1 advert on tv is 'proof'?
Of course hairloss is a negative thing, but its hardly in the catagory of persecution.
Almost every male on the planet suffers it at some point to a degree. And almost everyone sufferes from some form of negative trait wether its being short or fat or skinny ....

I have'nt seen the ad but did'nt he say it was for the fact that he was wearing a hairpiece, which is'nt the same thing as being bald.

it's not just 1 advert. im sure you've seen this type of thing before. if theres a balding/bald guy in a advert, he's always used to represent the opposite of what they're trying to promote, while the full head of hair guy is seen smilling with their product in his hands.

and i don't think there's a big difference between bald guys and wig wearers in how they are perceived. being a wig wearer just gives them a additional reason to mock you.

I'm not "bald" but when my crown started thinning a few friends started making bald jokes all of the time...non-stop actually. Then I discovered to big 3, got coverage, and now they've all, save one, started losing their hair and are looking worse than ever. I know it sounds awful of me to revel in that fact but I'd be lying if I said it didn't.

Have no mercy! Laugh at these assholes and let them know how "funny" it is to be losing hair. I'm serious. Karma is a b**ch.

why would one even need friends like that in the first place? they sound like a bunch of cockmunchers.

There is a world of difference between "mates" and "friends".

They aren't my friends anymore, they're more aquaintances these days. I have different groups of friends I hang out with and, as I got older, I dropped the ones who I grew to understand were just losers. Happy to leave them behind.

It's one thing to raz on your friends in good humor, if you can take it in return, but it's another to be cruel for the sake of it. I don't have time for people like that these days. I must say they look awful with thinning hair too. Their faces will never suit it.

Angryone has never been insulted out in public because he is not bald and the majority of non hair loss suffers will see someone with an nw3 as having a full head of hair... hence, no flack. Blaming your NW3 for your lack of success with women, ho ho ho please.

Over the years, I've been insulted in multitudes of places by many different kinds of people, especially women. I have asked women out and they have told me things like: "sorry, I don't date bald (insert negative descriptive here: "ugly, gross, fugly, etc" ) guys."

I have gone into bars and clubs, and I have approached women and I have heard their girlfriends say "ewww" in a hushed tone of voice, as they (often laughingly) walk away from me. If i try to continue to talk to them as they are walking away, they will walk away even faster or even run away from me. If I sit or stand next to them, they will get up and leave.

I also have approached loads of women and they have ignored me completely, as if I was not even talking to them ... no acknowledgement whatsoever that I was even there.

I have asked tons of women out and asked for their phone #'s and stuff, and they have said things like, "no thanks" or "sorry, but I am not interested."

Bottom line:
Rejection sucks and it hurts! :(

Dudemon we know your story, we know it's not just about hair with you. You are in an awful situation, but I respect you for trying. I really wish more of your post were more positive like s.a.f.

I think Dudemons b!tch wife has forever clouded his judgement against women.
But I still dont it would have made much difference if he was a NW1, it was'nt the hair that destroyed his marriage but it made for a good excuse.

But she, not him explicitly said that it was the hairloss specifically as the reason she didn't find him attractive anymore, hence ending the relationship. Given the nature of that b**ch it's almost certain it wouldn't have been an ideal relationship if the dude had hair but my (his) point still stands.

As I said in the previous post, it was an easy way for her to make an excuse and at the same time knowing how much it bothered him twist the knife. If it was'nt for his hair her parting shot would no doubt have been that he was 5hit in bed or something like that.

Just look at you and your wife, do you think she ever seriously considered leaving you when you started balding?
But if she ever wanted to and felt like being a b**ch, knowing how much it bothers you she would have the perfect excuse to use.

If you follow the dude's story then you would realize that he is in fact a very positive guy, despite the shitty hand he was dealt.

Just because it has all the makings of an excuse doesn't mean that it was. I think his wife was a shallow b**ch and when he went bald the b**ch came out end of story and I'm standing by that.

... and my wife and this b**ch have nothing in common.

I have seen him post plenty of positive stuff, but he seems to be slipping to a lot of negative post.

It's a pity that people make fun of those with hair loss problems when it's such a common issue these days. Stress, pollution, an underlying disease, or just anything can trigger hair loss.

If you are tired of using medications that claim hair growth, rely on the age old formula - Minoxidil. This is the ONLY medication whose hair re-growth claims have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Need I say more? See the results yourself.

For more details about Minoxidil and the HAIR GROWTH SOLUTION, see Fullheadhair(dot)com
