why can't you just shave it?

i think about shaving it everyday instead of going thru this..
i dont mind shaving it all the time.. but when i have bald spots from male pattern baldness, even when i shave my head you can still see the bald spots.. i used to shave it all the time even when i had the perfect front hairline.. why can't you guys just shave?

I have this walnut shaped head that just doesn't fit very well with a shaved head. I've done it once and I swear everyone thought I was dying of cancer. I was hoping everyone would get used to it after a couple of months, but I just heard the same thing over and over again about how bad I looked. This was when i was 18 in the JROTC and I thought I was going into the army and before I started to bald. I wish I didn't care what everyone else though so I could just shave it and look fine, then I wouldn't worry about this anymore. Damn that self esteem and vanity lining in me.

Well, I think my head shape is ok for the bald look, but I have got 3 rather big birthmarks which are under my hair right now. Would look ugly.

I think guys with a nice light bulb shaped head, where the back has a nice curve, look really good shaved or buzzed really close. I, unfurtately have
kind of a more flatter head on the back and dont have much of that curve which which I think would look fairly stupid. I just cant win! :-x

The shape of my head is a disgrace, a throwback to the early years of the human race, circa 50,000,000,000BC, and I've got two melanoma's which are visible if I shave and that's really disturbing.

i've shaved my head for the last 4 years( clippers no guard, not razor), while i was married. Now i'm divorced...so after my hair grew back after chemo i let it grow longer. i defeintely noticed a difference with women, for the better..of course now its falling out like a mofo. it was fun while it lasted...

I have a bad head shape for sure, my head is kinda "long" and narrow. Also the "ridge" on my head is right in the middle, when viewed from the side. Well, soon I'll shave it off anyways and face the jokes like a man.
