i spent a week in the amalfi coast. i was just as invisible there as i am here in the US.

the isolating nature of humanity has pervaded much of the western world. italy is for the most part no exception. but there are good people everywhere.

Because you're average, were you ugly you would have been mistreated as I am on a daily basis. I got my healthy dose of bald-shaming not even an hour ago. I should be allowed to work locked in my apartment in summer, I can't hide my baldness, ugliness or frail physique now and people mock me constantly these days.

You can lift weights, and start getting more muscular. Why not? Worse case, you can beat
some people up at work.
