I care about myself. The way to maximize my happiness is to play by society's rules and restore my hair (system, hair transplant, wwhatever) and become happy. If I do it your way, I would end up less happy. My way is better for society too but I don't care about that part. I care about myself and alcoholism will damage myself.

You have unlimited negativity just like I did. Go and see my history of posts on here and you will see. My tune has changed because I got a system. So go and get a system. I thought that I would want to tell everybody "I told you that I'd be happy with a system but you thought that I'd find another thing to obsess over" or "You thought that getting a system was drastic but now you want me to keep it because it looks so great". But I don't even care. I just am happy to move on and live my life. I didn't expect a system to have such an effect but I am feeling for the first time in over 5 years optimism. So get a system. You can't see right now that it will help you because you are in a dark place. Choose a stock system online and order it. Go to a salon to get it cut in and give it just 3 days and see how you feel. Whenever you feel unsure just remind yourself that it's only three days.

Not sure about shaving your hair. I personally hate the advice of "just shave it bro". Firstly, I much prefer a system. Secondly, I am having trouble attaching the system and when I am not wearing it, I have a Danny DeVito/Larry David/samurai haircut which I personally much prefer to the cleanly shaved or buzzed look. To me, shaving it should be one of the last non surgical things that one tries, not the first. Or at least there should be an idea of what else to try if one doesn't want to just shave it.
Yeah it was meant for @Caillou but still imo shaving is not for everyone, just like system. I benefit from shaving, but I get that there are people who will never be comfortable with a bald head. I personally don't have troubles admitting I have significant hairloss. What should be done however, is to stop shaming men for balding as well as shaving head, using hair systems as baldness is not a choice tbf.
Also, imo Caillou is going through very hard period in his hairloss as I had year ago. Hairloss is so funny because we are so different yet we have the same worries
