Got these test results back, and I’d really appreciate some help decoding and figuring out what this means. My shedding has started up again it seems, and I’m still losing a bit of ground, but I don’t understand how. Any help is appreciated.

Clarification about Monotherapy with Either CPA, MPA, spironolactone or the 'Mides and Safety

renderTimingPixel.png

I know many people do this in the XY hair loss community, in terms of only using an AA, which technically, duta and finasteride are too. I have been told that it can cause loss of bone mass and have other negative effects but I don't want to warn them off if unnecessary. It appears to me that Provera and CPA work exactly alike but we mostly use provera as an adjunct for breast finishing. So that would seem to leave spironolactone and bica as primarily receptor blockers.
If any of them raise E and lower T enough, then they should be safe in monotherapy or no? That's their thought as I always warn against more than 90 days single-shot AA.
I have to get this checked! Any idea what test I can take to do so?
I get standard HRT and lipids which is only E2 and total testosterone. The Powers people somehow are getting estrone and DHT so that is the better one if into details. But you want to know what levels work for your hair in case you have to stop and then want to replicate where you were previously.

Current regimen-- Dutasteride (0.5). RU (80 MG) minoxidil (Topical 8%) LLLT, NIACIN FLUSH, ORAL CASTOR. Gonna add estradiol today I think lol
LLLT? I think I have some niacin flush somewhere. It didn't do much for hair loss previously nor did A-L-Carnatine.

Niacin stopped my shedding for 2 weeks COMPLETELY-- but the shedding has started back up again, sadly
That's actually sad to hear. I was and still am gonna try B3 myself but I was hoping for more from it lol
Im on dutasteride and RU
That's a solid stack on its own imo. Nuking DHT then locally wrapping your scalp receptors from the increased Test plus any traces of DHT. Also saddeing to think you're still not stabilized, this was initially my end goal stack but I'm struggling to find many people succeeding on this combo.

Also I'll assume you know what you're doing before starting E. The more content on this site I'm eating through the more I'm starting to see it - There's only one narrow route to success if you want actual hair restoration. And that route is full of compromises. Not sure how much I'll be willing to give up but I'm seeing less and less of a way around it by the DAY.

Considering you're on things like Niacin and Castor oil you seem like you'd be open to further experimentals of this strength/kind. Therefore keep and eye out for when I test and report back on MSM which was discussed here and there in the past but I'll still assess it myself for hair quality. (obviously not for regrowth, few of these oils and supplements could do that imo)

I know man— beyond frustrating. Getting my estradiol, thyroid, and SHBG checked today. If this doesn’t revel what the issues is— I’m honestly lost. I had this sh*t so much

Here are my thyroid, estradiol l, and SHBG results. All normal range. WTF is happening. Why am I still losing hair?

Have you consulted with a professional on your results? There could be some better insight there (perhaps other underlying conditions you may have not considered).
