You've only been on finasteride for 4 months... BE PATIENT!!!
If you're that paranoid finasteride isn't working for you why not add something else anti-DHT to your regimen? spironolactone?
In the meantime, do what everyone is telling you to do - shave it off, it makes the thinning look less obvious. Or if you don't wanna do that, how about using concealers, toppik or couvre or something?
