Oh, BTW. For all you "mal-nutrition causes hairloss" folks, this guy is one of the most unhealthy people I know. He smokes like crazy, lives like crazy and eats lots of candy and crap food. He is totally unhealthy. It's all about genetics!

No that is the definition of a Norwood 0 no hair loss. My hair looked exactly like that when I was 20. Some men never had a straight hair line like that so obviously a Norwood 0 would be different for them.

No such thing as NW0 that guy just has extremly stong hair genetics. A low hairlow some guys never have a NW1 hairline, I certainly never did.

Well, if he were genetically predisposed, the "la vida loco," as my Latino brethren would state, would most certainly accelerate his loss. To imply that nutrition does not influence the condition of one's hair and scalp is ignorant.

I wouldn't mind a hairline like that. I don't care for a hairstyle that shows it off, though, because you almost look funny with it that low.

A nice old style haircut that parts to the side, or brush it forward to cover up the hairline a bit would look awesome.

But to think that nutrition can reverse genetic hair loss is also ignorant.

And to think that it effects it to any great extent is also ridiculous, just look at the 3rd world is everybody bald?. Or better still all the street bums with great hair. And do baldies have worse diets than the average NW1? - no.
Infact I would say it has virtually zero effect on actual m.p.b.

Profound statement there. Define "reverse," if you would be so kind.

Green tea can help a little. But you'd have to drink 3~4 cups a day minumum.

The guy in the first post pic does seem to have a bit of Telogen Effluvium perhaps in the front? Otherwise, yeah that's good hair. But I've seen hairlines like that before. It's more likely at my age than having a half bald hairline... :thumbdown2:

Geez have I accidently logged onto the hair equivelent of Mr Universe website?

And what exactly would you think green tea does? Are you saying that a NW6 could keep their hair by drinking tea?

I don't even understand what you mean with the first thing but to answer the last question: no. It will not regrow a NW6s hair.

But it has been shown that green tea in particular can lower DHT, and it's full of anti oxidents so that might help with free testosterone attacking hair follicles. Might be beneficial a little when combatting hairloss, but will not on it's own regrow hair ofcoarse. Satisfied with your answer? :thumbdown2:

No I'm asking if you think that if a NW6 guy like myself or Ucman had drank green tea everyday of his life he could have kept his hair?

I'm not pretending to be some new age pseudo scientist but I think my statement was clear enough. But taking vitamins, supplements and all of that on top of the most healthy diet in the world is not going to alter someone's genetic code from male pattern baldness to non male pattern baldness. No amount of nutrition is going to make an nw5's follicle receptors insensitive to DHT and repair/regenerate their hair. He will be a healthy bald man but the effects of nutrition on scalp/hair makes such a minute difference to someone afflicted by male pattern baldness that it is neglegable at best.
