Today I had a weird realisation when I saw a well built NW5 with a decent looking woman walking down the street holding each others hand. A few seconds later I saw another NW5 walking with slumped shoulders who was somehow skinny with a protruding belly walking down the street alone. It made me think that one of the significant factors for men who live with hair loss and the men who turn into shadows is that the men who pull it off are noticeably masculine men.
This term masculine doesn't mean jacked per se - although you cannot be scrawny in any way - it is also a little difficult to define. To be masculine or manly is hard to pinpoint but there are certain characteristics that are needed in in order to be seen as such.
If you look at these images you can see that men who pull of the balding looking are manly and the men who cannot of more feminine:

Anyway, I know this post may scream gymcel - and trust me that's not what i'm getting - but there is something in this. The men who pull it off are more masculine, with better jaws, postures, facial hair, and a stronger body.
I'm not sure how much of this is genetics and how much is determined by your behaviour.
You cannot control your height and jaw - I get that. But packing on a little muscle, growing stubble, and having better posture are the things we can control.
So, take this as you may. Take it as a looksmaxing post if you want. But know this, if you are losing your battle with your hair, then you have to take this notion of masculinity on board if you still want to be attractive to the opposite sex.
