If only ...

My body fat is low and I am lean but my face still looks "round" like it stores fat. Pisses me off because that's a terrible look for bald. I'm debating trying to get to 10% body fat or so but what good would it be when your short and pale anyways?

Some of us can never pull off the bald look unforantley. I'll have to live with the hats and toupees

Sunchyme, I think both cope and dante have you on ignore - if I quote you in a post they cant read it.

When you joke at them they cant read it - its pointless doing it

Darker features and tan, low brow, jaw line, cheekbones, good beard, body natural frame, muscles, height.

If your face looks like a beta cuck, the shave will make you look like a walking oxymoron without plastic surgery. Chemo/ugly/creepy take your pic. Face is the single most important aspect in relation to pulling off being bald.

Still, I wouldn't want to be the bald looking guy. A visual red flag in society with various consequences and being a subversion of myself. That's why we are on this site I guess.

I don't think the way I look is a red flag in society. Not sure though.

Ah, you "don't think"? Maybe it's because you're a solid 8/10 with above average face, physique and height? But you're "not sure though". :D

I still don't see how it's a red flag in society. When I see a slick NW6 in public I don't think to myself "RED FLAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I don't get the thought process around here sometimes.

I didn't mean literally a red flag as in 'haha look at him he's bald.' As discussed the look can be pulled off but it doesn't change the feeling of losing something, inferiority or bald jokes, unnoticed discrimination. It will happen somewhere somehow. It's far easier to have your hair and look normal, unassuming and at your best generally speaking. I presume your hair loss bothers you that's why you're on here. The easiest and most effective remedy is to return what's lost over compensation. My friend is black, square jaw, muscular, tall and maintains his hair with dutasteride. It's a myth that black guys don't care for hair loss and if they do, well I'm sure the rest of us must to an extent. My hair is my avatar and I'll do everything to maintain it close to that.

'haha look at him hes bald' lol

honestly even before i went bald i never laughed at bald guys. especially my friends. i never said anything. i just felt bad for them.

im sure black guys do care as much as the rest of us. theyre just lucky fuckers because they can get away with it.

My mate looks great shaved but even as a black guy he still lost something. At the moment he is a solid but diffuse Norwood 2.

Agree, it's more accurate that most guys end up semi invisible by becoming bald, not laughed at.

I've been shaving my head since 20. Dating prospects have always been beautiful women. No estat. As shookwun and a have discussed many times social anxiety holds me back. Not my shaved head.

Only feelings of inferiority have come when someone is more financially successful than myself, never once have I felt inferior standing next to another man. Then again, not to many men are 6'3" 205 lbs and shredded as f*** sub 10% body fat.

But you know what wolf pack, is other people view me as inferior due to what I look like then that's okay.

Sure, but a tan and a beard can make you look a lot more attractive.

You can improve a shitty situation.

So whats your deal?

You know you are good looking but you are still shy with women?

Do you know why?

Today I had a weird realisation when I saw a well built NW5 with a decent looking woman walking down the street holding each others hand. A few seconds later I saw another NW5 walking with slumped shoulders who was somehow skinny with a protruding belly walking down the street alone. It made me think that one of the significant factors for men who live with hair loss and the men who turn into shadows is that the men who pull it off are noticeably masculine men.

This term masculine doesn't mean jacked per se - although you cannot be scrawny in any way - it is also a little difficult to define. To be masculine or manly is hard to pinpoint but there are certain characteristics that are needed in in order to be seen as such.

If you look at these images you can see that men who pull of the balding looking are manly and the men who cannot of more feminine:

Anyway, I know this post may scream gymcel - and trust me that's not what i'm getting - but there is something in this. The men who pull it off are more masculine, with better jaws, postures, facial hair, and a stronger body.

I'm not sure how much of this is genetics and how much is determined by your behaviour.

You cannot control your height and jaw - I get that. But packing on a little muscle, growing stubble, and having better posture are the things we can control.

So, take this as you may. Take it as a looksmaxing post if you want. But know this, if you are losing your battle with your hair, then you have to take this notion of masculinity on board if you still want to be attractive to the opposite sex.

I take masculine handsome no hair over pretty feminine face full head.

i dont know how much is bone structure vs muscle mass

but i love a good strong jawline on a man. all the guys you posted as 'masculine' examples i find attractive.

Jawline is mostly bone structure, but low body fat will bring out a good jaw in 90% of men.

Men with overbites have weak chins - not much they can do.

Example:

If he lost 15lbs it would help but not that much.

His only hope is a beard and to get some muscle (if he wants to do the masculine look).

I bet he could still date okay if he wasn't famous with that face.

He's almost an exact 5.
