^^Damn about the shedding picture :/ now i'm really put off from starting something. But the pattern i've noticed is that many guys go through a larger shed if they're using minoxidil..so i don't know.
Well, I didn't have minoxidil shed because most of it was applied in the empty temple region.. so I really had no hair to shed there. You need to do something if you are losing hair though, shedding is only temporary but your hair loss is permanent.. it's easy.

Re: Zeroheat's Story- (Temple loss, Big 3, *UPDATE JAN 9*)

hey, remember me ? I am the one who pmed you to check out my hairloss, it's been like 3 months or so..And my hairline is getting worse daily. Last time i went to have a haircut, the guy who cut my hair even said that the corner of my right frontal hairline have less hair! I can't deny it anymore, I am going the same path as my father and brothers....
I am going to make an appointment with a doctor and get some proscar or propecia.
Do you still have any side effect now?
Good luck to you and me, I hope your hair keep improving. :punk:

Yes I remember you.. I TOLD YOU TO START ASAP! Now you are 3 months late. Don't worry too much though, if you start now.. you'd be catching it pretty early. I feel that my libido/erection is about 90% of what it used to be.. other than that, I don't feel anything different. I'm gonna post new update some time this week so stay tuned.

Re: Zeroheat's Story- (Temple loss, Big 3, *UPDATE JAN 9*)

:dunno: I was in a denial because I am only 20, turning into 21 and still a college student, that's soo damn early to be losing hair. Also, I was really scared of the side effects of fins so I didn't really want to get into it. But I realize if I never try, i never know. If there's serious side effect that doesn't go away after the 3rd month, I am going to drop it. Otherwise i will keep on taking fins until it lose its' ability to keep my hair, I hope It would hold my hair at this current state because it isn't really that bad, one side is nw2, the other side is nw1.
Let's hope fins help me to keep my hair for at least 10 years. I wonder if I should add minoxidil too, but I will see what results you get for the temple regions. It's a pain in the *** to add minoxidil two times a day. If minoxidil works wonder in your temple regions, I would try it too, it may bring me back to a NW1 :jackit: , I doubt it will tho.

Oh yeah, losing at 20 is definitely very early.. but you gotta try to do something about it, because you will continue to lose hair. We have almost identical hair loss (albeit at different stage), so I think my update will help you out a lot.. just keep checking back, I'm going to continue to update this thread.

Re: Zeroheat's Story- (Temple loss, Big 3, *UPDATE JAN 9*)

ok time for a monthly update..
today marks:

1.25mg proscar: 4 months
nizoral: 3 months and 3 weeks
minoxidil: 2 month 3 weeks

Still getting a nice temple regrowth.. its getting thicker/longer, I might become Norwood 1 again soon. Shedding has completely stopped, it's really amazing. Temple area is itching a lot more than it used to though, so I'm using nizoral more than ever. I've also dropped L'oreal hair thickening shampoo as a daily shampoo, and replaced it with one of those regular Pantene shampoo. I think my libido/erection is slightly lower than what it used to be (maybe 90%) but it doesn't affect my sexual life at all. Other than that, I don't feel any sides. I picked up smoking again due to school related stress, but I'm smoking very little (a pack lasts me about a month). I don't smoke when there are no exams. I completely quit coffee, and I try to get at least 8 hrs of sleep. Things are looking good, I'll post another update a month from today.

so you must be applying it to your whole scalp to correct ?
about 1 ml applied to the temple area, around 0.5 ml applied on the top, and I do this twice daily

WoW dude, you're a very lucky one. There's some amazing regrowth there! It doesn't even look real because it's just sooo much regrowth in the temple area which it's not that common. Great job anyway!

Congrats for the regrowth.... and consider yourself as a lucky guy....
I have been on Propecia for 8 months and did not notice any improvement so far (I'm below baseline). I'm always a bit jealous when I read stories like yours (I know I shouldn't)..

Cheers
