You completely scared me man..I will reduce to 10 or 5 mg before it is too late

thing is with me oral minoxidil does literally nothing, i've been using 25mg had a blood pressure test today at the hospital, and i have higher blood pressure than before using oral min, 152/92, but apparently i have edema in my ankle or something i didnt even notice, thats a symptom of salt retention, made me realise that this sh*t could be happening around my heart and thats the one line i will not cross for hair except for growing tits. i will drop down to 10mg again but this sh*t hasnt regrown a single hair on my head seriously
True my hair didnt improve

While my bica and e2 do contribute to skin perfection, tretinoin is main driver here. In my opinion this is all you need as a base stack. Bica will make you grow boobs with no exceptions, i had gyno surgery 2months ago for that reason.
your gyno is growing again right? i have mild gyno from fluoxetine + fina and i saw a doctor the other day who said the gland was too small for surgery to be worth it, and described it as "virtually non existent." But I want to get it removed so i can use antiandrogens again, but it will be an expensive surgery so i need to make sure if i get it removed, it will not come back

yes some people just dont produce the sulfotransferase enzyme which is what u need for minoxidil to be activated because it is a shitty prodrug which does nothing without it
Bro its being created in the liver when u take it orally. We just lack it in our scalps. I definately got harier on my hands when using it. Also had tiny hairs on hairline that didnt improve.

Yes but it will never reach original levels of growth. After 2 months left one barely grew like 20% from already small state and right one didnt at all (probably because it grew to 100% capacity before removing). I will get further removal after it grows to full capacity in few months if neccessary.
Fair enough, recurrence surgery is cheaper and fairer the second time, I just don't want to go through the stress of gyno again, it just feels terrible, so surgery has to be a one time fix for me, if it is a one time fix and if my gland doesn't regrow from fina / duta I will seriously consider adding low dose bicalutamide, I just don't have the mental strength to put up with gyno for hair.
Im also wondering if oral min is doing anything for my hair tbh. I just got good eyebrows and eyelashes from it.
Bro on your regimen it is basically impossible to tell, but looking at your results it probably brought you to a NW0.

Btw I appreciate your posts on this thread giving an objective viewpoint from a cis male using these drugs, can't wait till kintor release their sh*t

Dutasteride raise T too much not good for hair on some T sensitive guys. I also lost Ground on oral dutasteride and min. My sperm got reduced to 1 drop During orgasm. Then I switched to finasteride and its Still so little sperm sick of it.

Yeah. It’s either we are sensitive to T or some kind of upregulatory effect at the receptor level. Dutasteride has been anecdotally reported to increase frontal thinning by a lot of users.

I'm in the same boat. Tried 1mg./day of finasteride for almost a year and there were times it felt like I was shedding more. Topical AR blockers like fluridil and RU seem to be slightly effective whereas finasteride had zero effectiveness which led me to believe that I'm equally sensitive to both test and dht. Going to be jumping on bica soon and I'm hoping it will be effective enough to prevent further loss.

Hmm dutasteride killed my scalp itch. And burning sensation. And reduced my shedding from 50 hairs to 10. But it wasnt enough.

You're norwoody right? I remember arguing with u over finasteride about a year ago, what changed your opinion on it? did u not have success on oral min + Ru?
I’m surprised because I’ve never been really a big detractor nor proponent of finasteride. We might have debated about dutasteride, perhaps? It’s a long story but dutasteride made my hair worse, no doubt about that. I was actually doing okay on oral min and RU tbh, but I noticed increased shedding and got scared about that so I hopped back on finasteride. Honestly I am still tempted to try hopping back off finasteride as it gives me tinnitus and I believe it does have a neurosteroidal impact. The question is how serious is the impact long term? Dunno.

I think I was a big finasteride shill back then coz I watched too much Kevin Mann. I think this guy called Micky_007 was involved or something, anyway reason why I ask is because I remember u were on Ru + oral min which is the same regimen as me now, I'm trying to see if anyone has had any Sustainability on this regimen, because I'm shedding hard since stopping finasteride, since my view has become more nuanced on it..

as for the neurological risk, I'm sure it's not good at all, we evolved to have dht for a reason, but I think finasteride has been out for long enough that it's not fatl

Honestly I think I was stabilizing better than I thought, but I jumped the gun just because of a normal periodic shed. I am considering dropping finasteride again at some point as the ear ringing has gotten worse lately and my sleep quality has been suffering. How long have you been on your current regimen? What doses are you on? Also, where do you get your RU? Thanks

Been on RU since November, bumped to 100mg since I dropped finasteride in late march, oral min nearly a year, at 20mg for three months, I know that's an autism dose, but I am a complete oral min non responder, bear in mind I am hypertensive at this dose, my no is 152/92.

I sourced RU from receptorchem, it's a UK source, switched to anageninc now I use powder at 100mg/ml.

You used to use bi-estriol right? What was your experience?

I dropped finasteride because I developed gyno from a high dose SSRI which sent my prolactin to over 1000, and coz I had no DHT to block breast growth, I got gyno, I kind of regret dropping finasteride tbh, I'm going to reincorporate it next month, thing is my facial hair is really coming in now I'm not finasteride, so I want to wait a tiny bit longer
