Fair point. I think there’s still validity to the idea of a pre-existing mental condition, but in a lot of cases I agree that there may be physical attributes that are part of the reason why the person is questioning their identity. No doubt. Being ugly can cause mental illness for sure. And sometimes mental illness can also cause one to make themselves more ugly. One of the reasons for their suicides: suffering from dysphoria, they try to get rid of it in the only possible way, but the transition does not give a perfect result. If I were trans, I would have huge problems: big male head, male facial bone structure, body bones. I would suffer from dysphoria. Plus, it's hard to be trans in countries where 99% of people think you're a subhuman with schizophrenia and are unable to treat your problem with understanding instead of labeling and laughing.
But stupid transphobes think that the reason they commit suicide is because they have a mental disorder that affects the intellect, or because they made the wrong choice when transitioning. But the fact is that if you ban transition, there will only be more suicides, but in this case, technically it will not be the suicide of a transgender person, because then no one will know that the deceased suffered from dysphoria.
