The author, if you do tests for the thyroid gland, do an ultrasound. TSH, it may not show anything, it is more difficult for a man to determine the problem than for a woman. Also pass T4 and T3.

Outcome - Ultrasound, TSH, T4, T3 and antibodies to TG

Why do you all think that if a person does not help finasteride and minoxidil, then he is too sensitive to DHT?

Why does no one think about the fact that in addition to DHT, there are also not obvious problems that are not related to DHT or simply prevent finasteride and minoxidil from working?

If nothing interferes with the hair, it will grow very quickly, you do not need to wait about half a year or a year to get the long-awaited fluff, look at the HRT people (not to be confused with transfer hair).

If your hair began to grow after half a year of use, this is not the merit of finasteride / min, this is a change in your body that reduced inflammation and finasteride / min began to work. Look at the miraculous growths on completely different drugs, someone got it from massage, someone from MSM, someone on minoxidil alone or ZIX, people have different reasons and they got to the point when they used this or that method and as a rule, it was all discovered at random.

Not to be unfounded, let me tell you about myself. (Quite possibly later, I will make a topic with screenshots when I solve this problem)

3 years ago I fell on my back, 2 weeks later I got a sore throat (tonsillit), and a month and a half later it became chronic. Month later, hair on the top of the head began to fall out, there was diffuse thinning of the sides, eyebrows also fell out, everything was accompanied by itching. I went to 2 trichologists, the diagnosis was 100% Androgenetic Alopecia. For 3 years i practically became bald, neither finasteride nor min helped, I used different preparations, massages, etc. But then I bought omega 3 (thought just vitamins) and lo and behold, they started growing like crazy. Omega 3 has a good effect on cholesterol, blood vessels, joints, etc (it's just a dietary supplement, it's not even a medicine). I still don't know the exact reason, but the search has narrowed down, the main problem with health and with the internal system. I am sure that most people who go bald at 18-30 are (especially those who do it aggressively and with inflammation), not going bald because of genetics. I also did not have to wait half a year for them to start growing, I saw major hair changes and many new ones in a week.

Here is an example of when the impossible is possible.

All doctors say that if the hair turns gray, it is no longer possible to return its color, but this grandfather proved the opposite, although his gray hair should already be irreversible due to age, I am silent about those, who turn gray at an early age.

Yes, I apologize for such a long post.
Thanks for all of the info, i definitely appreciate it... you know, the weird thing is, about a month or so before i started losing, i too got sick, it was real bad for about 3 weeks. Doctor never really did figure out what was wrong. At first they were suggesting mono, but the test came back negative. He finally settled on a diagnosis of strep throat, and while i definitely had probably the worst sore throat of my life, that diagnosis never really felt right to me. But yeah thanks for all of the info. Omega 3 would be easy enough to do. Next thing is going to be getting my thyroid looked at. Thanks again!

You're welcome. I want to correct a little something, on my package it says "Omega 3-6-9", I don't know which of the numbers worked better. Check the heart, cholesterol, gastrointestinal tract and back. Throat problems can be both from the back and from the gastrointestinal tract. The throat itself can give a complication to the heart, which will damage the vascular system, including hair.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up about the Omega, definitely will give that a try then. Had no idea that throat problems could be so connected to heart health and hair loss too.

@DoctorHouse @losingbattle88 @Mr. Slap Head @vandun3 @Moz5x @Feramon1
@Chill dude

Ok guys first of all, just want to say that for all of the ideas, you have all been awesome, appreciate it! So... I am thinking that this is going to be my game plan. Ive got an appointment in 2 weeks to get thyroid tested, im gonna get my T and DHT tested to. Im gonna get one of those Derminator 2 machines, continue Red Light Therapy 3x week, switch to keto shampoo and get a shower water filter. Add oral minoxidil with topical, start using zix, and using copper peptides after microneedling. Add in the Omega 3,6,9 to Biotin and Flax. Also when i go for my bloodwork, i will ask about info and maybe a presciption for the duasteride.

Does this sound like a good place to start? Am i doing too much or not enough? Anything I'm missing? Thanks again.

I’ve got an appt set up for 3/22. Wish me luck guys, hope I can get some answers at the appt or find some things out. Not finding anything that has worked yet is getting frustrating but I just turned 22 and I don’t want to give up just yet, even if the odds are against me

Hey guys, looks like duasteride is gonna be on hold for awhile... so yeah, sorry if I don’t get back with anyone tonight, I just want to spend some time with my gf.
Congrats on being a daddy. I guess your life is about to change dramatically. Hair is the last of your worries now.

Congrats on being a dad.

Echoing what some people said, finasteride or dutasteride are really the only long term solutions if it's indeed androgenic alopecia since they're the only things that minimize the actual cause vs the others that are growth stimulants. As for the laser cap and prp, there's a few studies that show some results, but I've rarely seen that translate into real world positive testimonials.

Good luck!

Hey man, the pictures on my very first post, the third one is right before I started the Propecia. The last 3 are all current. IMO, i still look like i lost quite a bit while i was still on the Propecia.

Thanks. So yeah I am gonna stay the course, and add in the new stuff as it arrives in the mail. I have an appt to get some bloodwork done in a week and a half and see if it sheds any light on the thyroid issues, and check and see what my T and DHT is doing after 8 months of Propecia.

I think you're right, my man. Gonna be a busy week, got my appt on Tuesday 3/22 and she has got her first appt on the 23rd. Her Dr said she could wait and come in 2nd week of April if she isnt having any problems but I'm all for getting her in ASAP.
