yeah not a lot though, likely it is the minoxidil
Hi. Im on RU and oral minoxidill +topical. Also shedding more than usuall. But I think its the minoxidill because I was on RU first for 2 weeks without shedding. Then added in oral minoxidil and started shedding. I had that chest tightness on RU when I used it years ago. But this time I got zero sides even tried derma stamp 1.5mm and used 150mg ru still had no sides. im the guy that recommended you RU.

Thanks man was thinking of topical finasteride too. If I had no luck with oral would it be the same with topical you think ?

Ye it would. I tried that and it didnt work. I even combined dutasteride oral and topical and NADA. But u can always try.

So tried finasteride before and stopped after 5 months cause felt like it wasn't working. Recently decided to give it another go. I'm about 4 months in and having a real bad shed right now. Thinking I'm a loss cause. Going to see a hair transplant specialist next week but not even sure there's much they can do for me. Prob just gonna give up and do the ole shave.

First pic is before finasteride. Overall thinning.

2nd pic is currently with hair dry. 4 months on finasteride. Hair looks and feels dead.

3rd pic. Incoming terrible. This is after apply rosemary oil I wanted the hairs to get stuck together so you can get a real good look at scalp. Not sure if there's tiny hairs coming in or not. But shows you really how bad it is. If you can zoom in to see if I have any chance of anything coming in or should I just drop it?

looks like finasteride gave you telogen effluvium and any dermatologist will probably confirm this. drop it asap and hopefully you can get your hair back after 5-6 months. same sh*t happened to me. that's not normal hair loss. no one talks about this. you f*cked your hormones and your body goes into crisis mode and sends up to 50% of your hair follicles into the telogen stage and your hair falls out.

My first year on finasteride gave me some NASTY sheds. I was certain my hair was getting worse. I'm also a diffuse thinner in the front half of my scalp. I wasn't on these forums then (this was around the year 1999-2000), and I'm glad. I stuck with it, my hair thickened back up, and I've been on it for almost 25 years now. Still have my hair.

Just an FYI.

Are you also using that crap called minoxidil or just on finasteride?

Nope. Don't know what it was, but it sure wasn't Finasteride. I think you're paranoid. Go get some air.
I have photos evidences of it, imagine believing that you know more about someone else's body than they do kkkkkkkkkkkk. I’m not alone, there’s plenty of case like mine here in this forum.

Not sure about 15 days but I definitely believe finasteride can just shred your f*****g hair with no recovery. It's your body responding by saying f*** you. Feedback by increasing test and receptors. I took it for 5 weeks a few months ago. Just like the first time when I took it for a year - DRASTIC hairline and crown inflammation (swelling feeling, crawling, slight burning) followed by hair loss and miniaturization, I have transplants only on one side so I can literally see the old native hair next to it that used to be terminal and hide the transplants miniaturized now. To think that "finasteride cant make things worst" is insane. Your body has been evolving for millions of years to normalize and counteract change.

It can if hormones arent balanced on the drug. But dutasteride definately made my hair thinner but finasteride doesnt seem to or less. I get zero inflammation or itch or whatever on these drugs still. I believe dutasteride is bad for some cause it increases T too much. finasteride alot less and I only use .25mg finasteride daily with 1.2mg oral min. Update. Sticking to 1mg daily despite side effects.
