I think I even saw improvement within 3 months, but I am too lazy to look up my pics, so I am not 100% positive.

I think you saw a lot tbh. You were a good Minoxidil responder. Who knows, maybe I would be too. Just I hardly have miniaturised areas to work on so not worth the hassle for me. But it can sometimes do wonders on baldish areas. finasteride tends to work really slowly, you just notice subtle changes and it all adds up.

This is especially true if you use product and style your hair.

I do. Even despite that it doesn't fit into my lifestyle. I know people will slate me on this, I appreciate it is as "easy as brushing your teeth" as the rogaine ad says lol, but still. But something needs to be done for my front so if I get desperate who knows. Transplant is far off at the moment, got the money but time wise and going abroad e.t.c.

As someone that has used minoxidil for close to 2 years now I can say it is a pain in the *** to use. The act of putting it on is not a huge deal, literally takes a couple of minutes, but the look afterward isn't the greatest. I have yet to figure out a way to use it and be able to style my hair afterward. The liquid is greasy and doesn't look good for hours, the foam isn't much better either.

If you're on dutasteride and minoxidil, normally minoxidil gives you results within 4 months. In fact the manufacturers if Rogaine recommend discontinuing if you don't, minoxidil is fast acting. I understand your situation is different as you were on it ages ago but you would expect a boost within the first 4 months.

I'm just on finasteride, not added minoxidil but getting improvement. Hopefully you will within the first 6 months especially with the minoxidil there.

I don't use Rogaine anymore, I take oral Minoxidil and have been on it for over a month now. I've been seeing a ton of little hairs all over my miniaturized hairline. Oral Minoxidil works a lot faster at regrowth than using it topically, so I hope the little hairs I've been growing turn terminal.

Hopefully, your hair continues to get better on Finasteride Wolf Pack. I expect my hair to be getting noticeable good improvements at six months from now. I would have to be unlucky to not get any terminal hair regrowth being on Dutasteride and oral Minoxidil. My hair is still maintaining well though, I guess. I'm still planning to add RU58841 into my regimen, I've been getting the supplies I need to make my own batches.

One of the reasons why I switched to oral Minoxidil, it's much more practical at treating Androgenetic Alopecia and it won't make your hair look bad. Honestly, what would be the point of saving your hair if it's going to look awful all the time?

Very true. On the days I plan on going out I will apply minoxidil for a few hours before I shower, so I can style it without anything in it.

How do you even get your hands on oral minoxidil? Are you getting by prescription?

Not cool, why don't you use foam, twice the dose, all at night? Even liquid can be used in this way. It means you won't have worries in the morning. I did think about starting 1 mg oral minoxidil per day. But not confident it would bring my hairline forward, I'm no diffuse thinner so seems I may not need it.

Does anyone know what 5% minoxidil is equal to when taken orally? I know orally you should take 5-10 mg but I would like to take the lowest amount.

So you are saying use 2ml of 5% minoxidil at night? Is that just as effective as using twice a day? I haven't heard of anyone doing that before, but that would be a hell of a lot easier to do.

It's quite common. People even get regrowth on it. You're in the maintenance phase. I'm on the phone but Dr Bernstein himself recommends it as a suitable option. I would try it. Yeah 2ml.

I do. Thanks to minoxidil not only do I have to fight itchiness, but also dandruff too. I would recommend for anybody that is considering minoxidil to pick themselves up a good dandruff shampoo at the same time.
