Yea the "itch" is DHT in your scalp. I think NoFAP has increased the presence of DHT in your scalp. This itch is what led me to realizing I was balding. The itch came, then I noticed thinning in the front accelerating. One dose of finasteride and the itch was gone. As long as I have been on finasteride, the itch is gone. I tried stopping to see what my body would do and the itch came back.

I have been practicing no fap for over 3 weeks now because I had penis surgery on July 9th. So far no change in hair whatsoever. I went ahead and took before pics for the hell of it, and I have had the same regimen for over 7 months so my results were definitely stable. By what time do you no fap proponents expect I should see results? I will gladly post after pics at that time.

These guys wont be able to tell you when to expect a difference in your hair, because they are not suffering from hair loss and are unable to tell themselves. Most of what they will tell you is garbage such as the following:

"my shedding stopped within a few weeks of nofap"
"I relapsed and I was shedding like crazy"
"My hair just feels thicker"
"The luster is just amazing"

and other nonsense similar to this. You are on treatments though aren't you? I would hate for nofap to get any undeserved credit.

Yea I'm still on the big 3 but I think my progress has plateaued so I don't think it would skew the results. I'm still kinda considering just getting a hairpiece but lately I've been using Toppik and that stuff is legit for the crown honestly. I mean my hairline doesn't look great, but its not terrible. I feel like I kinda have a younger Jude Law thing going on. Or so I keep telling myself lol.

This. Especially in the early stages of hair loss when it is important to actually be proactive and try to stop it. I find it hard to believe that most of these guys actually believe this works. At think at this point it is more of a pissing match than anything.
