let's not beat around the bush sir .... masturbation is like tobacco or any other addictive practice for that matter , you start it , you can hardly quit , the more you indulge in it , the more you want again , I never smoked in my life though , maybe tobacco isn't a good example.

Nicotine is now thought to be one of the most addictive chemicals on the planet. Nicotine, and many other addictive chemicals, cause a PHYSICAL dependency...not just a psychological one. I personally know how hard it was to quit smoking. Your body NEEDS it, and for people (not me) who have smoked a pack a day, it causes physical withdrawal that can seriously harm you. Masturbation, as far as I know, won't cause you to go into shock if you refrain from doing it for a period of time. So yea horribly example.

I just refuse to believe masturbation is healthy, even with all the proofs there are.

And this is why nobody values your opinion :) Because with all the proof, you still refuse to believe things...this is pretty much the definition of being illogical. case closed

it just goes against my moral , and I think of these scientists that proved it as a bunch of quacks that got their degrees in some cereal box...

That's great that it goes against your moral, good for you. Yup, scientists who have the highest levels of education are just a bunch of quacks. The government and funding agencies give 5 million dollar grants to my boss because he waves his cereal box degree at them. Yup. You're right. Maybe we should put the Rabbis in charge of research, at least their degrees came from....oh wait :jackit:

The humor can be summarized as follows:

uncomfortable man farts in an empty box of matches, and gives it to californiaoceans911.
californiaoceans911 opens it up and bursts into hysterical laughter

Lacking the intellect to invent anything new they repeat this number every 5-10th page

There are some mild psychological withdrawal simp. of nofap... You are wrong about nicotine. It differs from person to person. Studies have shown that 40-60 percent of the predisposition to addiction can be attributed to genetics.

By what time do you no fap proponents expect I should see results?
If you are not affected by this, there won't be results. I am affected by this and I have seen results at 3-4 weeks mark. However this was back in the day and on behalf of good exercise regimen (weights): full body workout for an hour a day as often as I could (no ergogenics). Why is this probably important? - It was important in my case because without the exercise it would take longer and results would be less pronounced. Probably because exercise tones not only the body but also the hormonal system. It also acts as a immuno suppressant - in the end your hair is killed by your own immune system. If you shut down your immune system (locally!) you shut down balding.

Obviously you didn't read the article. It was retracted by the original authors. Seems to me like the peer-review process did its job. 5 months is nothing on the scale of academic publishing. It basically got retracted as soon as it came out. It takes half a year to get a paper out the door and into a journal AFTER you've actually written the paper.

Finasteride has been out over 20 years. You don't think in that time some employee or researcher would have stepped forward to blow the whistle if there was foul play? You've been reading too many conspiracy books my friend.

You're not in academia, or a scientist for that matter I presume (wtf IS your job?) because it is clear that you don't understand what went on in that article.

No wet dream since then? Or any kind of seminal fluid release other than fapping? Where do you live? How often do you go out? You know, when you see girls on the street you feel that the speed of semen production increases.

Also don't forget that, for academics at a research institution, it is imperative that your work be true and honest. If you falsify data, your career is over, your reputation and credibility is gone. You guys seem to think that people go around just fudging data and publishing false bull**** all the time. It doesn't work that way my friend. Even when your work is true, good research the reviewers are trying to knock you down and triple check your work. It's not a god damn mickey mouse operation. Academics tend to be more careful and scrutinous with their work than industry folk.

I dont care by who or when it was retracted. Nowdays, science is always driven by money. Studies, trials..manipulated by financieres. I'm electrical engineer, btw.

Of course you don't care who retracted it, you're not interested in the truth...you just want to make a point and will take anything out of context to do so...

This is not a fact, nor does it have much truth to it.

Dude, what age are you if your seminal fluid increases when you see a girl on the street?
Were you in some kind of desert and now you see girls for the first time?
Are you sexual obsessed or what?
Wet dreams are produced by pornography.

Again another false "fact" by dreamermerlin. Wet dreams are not produced by pornography. My first wet dream was when I was ~13-14, long before the massive internet free p**rn era. I hadn't even seen p**rn yet. It was 1997.

Since the advent of free easy-access p**rn, I have never had a wet dream. (>2002)

This. Especially in the early stages of hair loss when it is important to actually be proactive and try to stop it. I find it hard to believe that most of these guys actually believe this works. At think at this point it is more of a pissing match than anything.

Who in the world said if someone doesn't masturbate in order for his hair to stop falling(which i said, i highly doubt), he can't use all the other available treatments AT THE SAME TIME?

Why fap and the big 3 have to exclude each other reciprocally??
Maybe fap and p**rn watching burned out your neurons and your reasoning capabilities are lowered.
Ooh, and between 2 p**rn movies don't forget to give me another negative reputation. :)
It would just enforce what i said that you are a chronic fap addict and are bothered by the ones who are not. You are a slave, my dear, slave of your primary instincts.

I can't even..

I try to be nice but all you do is label me as ''obsessed''. I think you're either asexual or live in a country like Iran.Or you are the one who lives in a cave.

debating with nofap extremists is harder than debating with religious nuts.

Yes, my friend, but i don't get an erection at each girl i see on the street.
I am not the one who, when seeing a girl in the street, immediately think in what position i would do her.
It's pornography which makes your brain over-obsessed about sex and "your quantity of semen increase when you see a girl".
Why did you say that ridiculous thing?

The operative phrase here is "to get grants". I doubt your friend have ever said "I publish BS papers all the time where I falsify data, all the time".

@California bro-scientist, isn't there a new p**rn movie to watch??
Maybe it will calm you down, you are too stressed.
And yes, i agree to you, i don't think, from my observations, that quitting fap or sex can do much to your hair.
So the title of the thread "abstinence is the answer" is false, i think.
But, anyway, p**rn and fap is for losers.
