Yes, you came out from the get-go immediately insulting him for daring to think he's balding, it's obvious you find this particularly stinging, probably because you're much more bald and find it offensive he considered himself balding.

Here's your first reply, in case you forgot:

At the end of day, even if he is not balding, which it's hard to say, you don't know how thick the front of his head is, and he presented some pretty sh*t pictures where it's hard to tell, this sensitive response from you reads as juvenile jealousy. You need to come to terms with your own balding and chill the f*** out.

It's really obvious who is extremely upset here. I used the term 'triggered' and you're jumping on it, you're the one clearly acting out like a child who didn't get his favoured birthday present from your first triggered reply.

I have recently turned 22 - I have noticed for a while (maybe 2 years) that the hair above my temples has been creeping back, not necessarily noticeable to anyone apart from me when I pull my hair back but one day around 4 months ago I noticed it was getting considerably worse. SO, I decided to start taking finasteride around 2 weeks after much deliberation and research (which in hindsight a terrible thing to even consider when you have thick hair and not already noticeably balding). Pretty much instantly, my hair starts shedding like crazy and gave me a really bad itch and a sore and inflamed scalp. This shedding literally never stopped from the entirety of me taking finasteride and now I have gone from not even close to being bald, to literally my last layer of hair. It has also turned my hair lifeless, greasy and incredibly thin. For some reason it took me 2 and a half ****ing months and less optimistic research that I have decided that finasteride has been a horrible blight on my hair so I am now staying away from that sh*t. FINASTERIDE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE - please don't make the mistake I did as the longer you use it the more hair you will undoubtedly kill. If your scalp is inflamed and have a horrible itch - please just stop taking it there and then. I know I am not the only one who will and has suffered from this as I have read about a lot of similar experiences. I also know it was 100% the finasteride which made me lose this hair because since stopping the shedding slowed down considerably and I'm only losing 1-2 hairs in the shower in comparison to upwards of 50-100 but it has left my hair so thin and the hairs that I am losing now are pathetic. I am simply issuing this as a warning - if your body reacts the same way as mine don't keep it going, attempt to find another remedy that works for you. Anyway, **** the long term effects of finasteride - it's not worth losing hair over, I don't know why it took me so long to realize that. I wish I could go back in time and never take this horrible scam of a drug.

To sum up - you took finasteride, it shed your hair as it should in the initial stages, and you panicked and stopped using it and turned to blame the drug instead of using it properly.

Man if it is meant to shed around 70% of the density of my hair then why the f*** would anyone take it in the first place. Everyone on this forum who has had inflammation, increased itch and oily scalp who took finasteride for a longer time than me just report the same problem - that the shed never stops. It's people like you who I blame for not quitting the drug earlier as you just say it's a shed. I can guarantee anyone who suffered from inflammation of the scalp from finasteride has only suffered accelerated hairloss. I don't understand why people can't comprehend that people can have an adverse reaction to finasteride, look it up on this forum there are hundreds of people who have suffered from the same thing. Also, I was suffering from ED from it so I guess I just have the worst luck

If you're going to argue your point, that finasteride is a scam despite decades of research to the contrary, then how about telling us how long you were on it and your dosage, and what other medical conditions you have if any.

ok well maybe it's not a scam as such because it has helped a lot of people - but a lot of people have suffered accelerated hairloss because of finasteride and it should be listed as a side effect. Look up hyper androgenicity

Hyper androgenicity is for the most part a female condition.

Show me a clinical study where finasteride shows accelerated hairloss.

Also you haven't answered the previous questions. Most likely you were overdosing and only doing it for 2 months anyway, stopping in the shedding phase.

i took 1mg a day as recommended for 2.5 months and it made me thin diffusely, develop a bald spot on my crown and literally tore at my hairline. Why are you trying so hard to defend it lmao? Unless u work for merck lol? I admit it might be a rare side effect but it definitely happens - considering the volume of people who have suffered the same as me

It's the shedding phase. You're supposed to shed. You need to wait for full results at 6-12 months. Otherwise just keep whinging.

Do you get any of that or am I talked to a brick wall?

lmao you're so dumb - those who have had scalp inflammation, oily skin, itchy scalp (all of which I have never had before nor anyone who has also suffered this way) never recover. Man i wish you were right, i really do, but you're not. Regardless of any of this, I had ED so it was unsustainable for me to continue it

Based on what are you inferring "those who have had scalp inflammation, oily skin, itchy scalp never recover"?

As I said you were overdoing it.
Mistake 1: Going on finasteride oral. This isn't the 1970s.
Mistake 2: Taking 1mg a day rather than doing a small dose and monitoring and maybe amping up at a later date.
Mistake 3: Not kissing the woman you were meant to fall in love with seven years ago.

There are so many people on this forum who have had it - if your scalp is literally painful from taking it surely it would suggest that something is wrong and you are responding badly?!
Review of your mistakes:
1: It is the literally the main treatment lol - but yes thank you, I know that now.
2: Yep, I agree with you but I was made to believe that if you don't take 1mg then it's not even worth taking.
3. haha dude why are u so angry, i find it so weird that people defend finasteride to their death hahaha, ive never had any problem with girls BUT since my hair has been f*****g ravaged over the past 3 months that might change ://
What is your regimen anyway if you don't take finasteride? I am genuinely looking for some advice if you wanted to stop being a dick lmao

It's not your fault, they are uninforming the unwashed masses.

Finasteride really is the best in the world at what it does.

I am taking finasteride topical mixed with minoxidil, exactly 0.25mg a day of that sh*t, probably the only thing anyone needs unless the genes are wrecked to f*ck in which case duasteride plus hair transplant.

Posting an update. It's been more than 1 year on finasteride and I've definitely lost ground. Hair is wet in these pictures.
Hopefully the idiots who tell users they're not balding until they're literally nw3 will piss off now. Any advice is welcome. I haven't been using nizoral for a few months if that's relevant.
