Its something very obvious (the top of your head) and makes you look like sh*t and you cant do anything to hide it ... this is why you get picked on :)
Oh and almost forgot that ANY attempt to hide it will most likely cause more damage once they find out... while a women can get away with almot every attemt to improve attractiveness, a men puts on a hat and he can start working on that arm ( :jackit: ), i have to admit that its far more easy to pick-up with a head full of hair, i know because up to 21 i used to get picked up from time to time, now i have to work my *** to bust a nut! ><

I think people need to stop whining about people picking on them (especially grown men) about hairloss. I hate it as much as the next guy, but baldness is a common thing that is all around us. People who are not experiencing it have absolutely NO IDEA how much it tragically effects a man. Most men do not display how depressed they are about (hell a lot do not care- that is a FACT), so how can you blame people? Its just a general thing in our society that people poke fun at it.

So yes, I am as depressed as the next guy about my hairloss (probably more than a lot haha), but stop victimizing yourselves (us).

This is a very interesting subject. Human behavior can be broken down into simple terms of hormones. Confidence...what causes it? Testosterone does, plain and simple. Passiveness...what causes it? You've guessed it: estrogen. Men have more testosterone than women, men are made to be confident and aggressive and competitive and that is how they "get the girl". Women are more passive and sensitive, less aggressive and more nurturing in nature, why is this? It is because women have more estrogen than men. Now, most young women are completely attracted to this bad-boy, rowdy, don't-give-ah-sh*t type of guy...Why? Have you even wondered why women "dig jerks": those smart-*** cocky, confident young guys with great heads of hair? It is because it is in their nature to be attracted to them, because they are the complete opposite of them. Opposites attract...just like a magnet.

It is known that balding men have low testosterone compared to estrogen and D.H.T. Well, as a man ages, his testosterone declines and estrogen rises, this is what you call a "hormonal inversion". This inversion is almost identical to the balding process. Ever wonder why you don't see most athletes on top of their performance past age forty? It is because their testosterone is falling while estrogen rises, which not only changes your body structure, it also changes your personality: less aggression, less confidence, more sensitivity, and more passivenesses.

Now here is the strange part. As women get older they lose estrogen, while men gain it. This hormonal shift puts the woman in the dominant position and men in the submissive position. It is said that a 50-year-old man has more estrogen than his post-menopausal wife! So when women are young and "more feminine" due to estrogen, they look for a young guy with lots of testosterone, how can you tell by looking at someone if they have good testosterone levels? Hair, muscles, confidence, aggressiveness... Young women (age 20) are attracted by a good head of hair; because it shows strength and youth, think testosterone. Now a 40-year-old woman with less estrogen, are often more attracted to guys with more estrogen, because remember opposites attract. How can you tell by looking at someone if they have high estrogen levels? Baldness, fat instead of muscle, sensitivity, and passiveness are all signs. The woman now realizes that this estrogenic man would be much more loyal, caring, and nurturing to her than a young, sex crazed muscular man. Therefore she would fall in love with him.

This is a classic example of an "under-dog" story. The handsome good looking jerk gets the girl at first, and rudely shows that he is the "alpha-male" to the under-dog character. Only at the end, does the girl fall in love with the under-dog because she finally realizes that he actually cares for her, wants to be with her, would do anything for her, while the handsome good looking alpha-male would be perfectly content with ending the relationship, because he could simply get more girls later on.

With all that being said, I'm surprised Bryan is balding...

Buddy it is nowhere NEAR as simple as that. Are you crazy? There's an orchestra of hormones working in unison that alter the way you feel. Go ahead, try taking huge doses of testosterone and see where that gets you. Please stop posting ridiculous sh*t like you know what you're talking about, if you went to any anti-aging forum you would get sh*t on. It's not the one thing, it's the wave.

I wish a mod would talk to this guy, hes spreading misinformation and calls it his brilliant f*****g theory.

Unbelievable.

Men would have less testosterone and more D.H.T. because testosterone converts into D.H.T. and estrogen. Estrogen inhibits testosterone production, hence...Increase in D.H.T. Now testosterone is the main androgen in muscle and bone. All other tissue uses D.H.T. especially the prostate and hair. D.H.T. is also know to be a estrogen antagonist, so it would simply make sense to say: if your testosterone is being converted to estrogen the body would make more estrogen antagonist...D.H.T. Think about it, if you inhibit estrogen, it makes a increase in testosterone, which lessens the body’s demand for the estrogen antagonist...D.H.T. Less D.H.T. means even more testosterone which means better health, more muscle mass, increased cardiovascular strength, better sex drive and even hair growth

Im quite sure it's estrogen that acts on the prostate, but it can only do so in an environment of high DHT

The secret is estrogen can only do its dirty work in an environment of DHT. If DHT is removed, as with 5-AR's, then E does not cause prostatic hyperplasia.

But when you remove DHT you are removing the hormone most responsible for All Things Male--and risk the permanent side effects which provide the topic of this thread.

If E is properly controlled, the prostate remains in good shape. With ONLY benefits.

Exactly, that is what I'm saying. You can't remove D.H.T. because we need it. The secret is to remove estrogen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And how will removing estrogen repair my receptors? :dunno:

he's already lost all of his hair (his follicles have been destroyed via the miniturization process)
we are wondering how removing Oestrogen will repair them?

you don't inject HGH into your stomach, you inject it under your skin. over the stomach is an easy place to pinch skin, and its a safe place to inject. not that crazy.

Uh, anybody who injects crap like that is pretty crazy, IMO. Wouldn't catch me doing it. Most of that crap is made in China or Russia in bathtub underground laboratories with only God knows what's in it. Anybody doing that stuff is a fool plain and simple. For all you know, that sh*t could be cooked up with turpentine in it.

Some people need it to live a normal life..............

So if I somehow stop producing estrogen, then the receptors at the base of my follicles with repair themselves with the help of HGH and testosterone? Is that what you are saying E? Is this your way of saying "man up" in macho science talk? There are plenty of bald atheletes not to mention weightlifters who are bald. Do they have an excess of estrogen? Your pseudo science is oversimplified. I don't pretend to understand this sh*t like you might, but I imagine messing with my body chemistry will not change the CAUSE of my baldness. You need to do more research Mister E.

I think that M.P.B. is a sign of andropause. Bald athletes most defiantly might have excess estrogen or inflammation; estrogen doesn't necessarily make you fat or sedentary
