Is it possible we could see RCH-01 by the end of 2018?
@lah11 you mean that Seti won't be release in 2019 or ever? Why?
fevi is an asthma drug , if it works well for asthma it will be released . However if seti doesnt do much for hair , fevi wont do much either.Got it. So at lest you are positive for releasing of Fevi, right?
Adding, if RCH-01 will be relesed, whole finasteride won't be needed anymore.
what did it do to you ?Well i do not expect Seti to regrow my hair, but stop loosing it and make miniaturized hair regrow thicker, then it is good place to start.
Well i do not expect finasteride to be gone, but this drug is poison.
UPDATE ON THE OP
1) Follica pipeline was updated in the last few weeks. The bar has now completed Phase 2. Speculation that the pre pivotal trial has completed and that the beginning of phase 3 is very, very imminent.
2) RCH-01 was named as a key product in Shiseido's new three year plan to increase its revenues, on its website. It is stated "we will not only produce innovation in cosmetics but also build innovative business models and explore new frontiers such as artificial skin, hair and skin regeneration", showing that they haven't forgot about it but it's thought of as an important part of their plans to increase revenue. The trial is finished now. I'm pretty confident it will be out in 2019 at some point.
3) Brotzu is a scam.
4) Setipiprant data readout planned for March 2019, although I don't believe this will get released.
5) The Tsuji team released a press statement in which it is claimed all hurdles to hair multiplication in humans have now been solved in the lab (including the mythical inductivity problem) and this is ready to leave the preclinical stage. Human trials are definitively scheduled for March 2019, on the condition that the newly commenced mouse studies don't show carcinogenesis. This genuinely is the holy grail of hair loss and its tantalisingly close!
6) Surprisingly, no updates on PTD-DBM. There was a study released that showed the benefits of the substance with VPA. Still waiting on the conference in August, where the lead researcher is present. Hopefully a lot of new info there and ideally news of human trial..
Almost halfway through 2018 and everything is going... surprisingly well? Tsuji team no longer seems like a fantasy, Follica are still marching on, RCH-01 is being talked of positively by Shiseido, Samumed planning on an unexpected Phase 3. The end is near boys, we're so close now!!
Yes!!! If the current 2018 trend of nothing happening or changing continues....we are on track for absolutely nothing in only a matter of months!!!
Doesn’t matter. His opinion is irrelevant. Not like some random hair loss sufferer from an online forum will know better than a giant pharma company.@lah11 you mean that Seti won't be release in 2019 or ever? Why?
I agree. Not many people here knows how long it actually takes. Average company takes 10-12 years to get a drug from preclinical to the market. If released next year they are right around there.Someone seems to be very optimistic
Follica, Shiseido and Tsuji are making real progress.
Now is the time to start work out and save some money so we can run in baywatchstyle at the beach in summer 2020 to present our new hair.
(Thats how you cheer up)

@DanielDüsentrieb i like your optymism... but how you are getting it, since Shiseido did not update anything since years... How do you know that it is doing progres?
It reportedly started in August 2016. I think we'll receive trial results in August or September this year.
I love your optimism but to quote Shaw "We learn from experience that men never learn from experience" GBSUPDATE
In the last month, been announced that Histogen is in Phase 3! Based on what I've seen of sketchy photos from them and my own personal experience with prp, I don't foresee this being a great treatment for most young Androgenetic Alopecia sufferers. I think older men with slower hair loss, leaning towards age related hair loss will benefit most. Disclaimer- I could be wrong, that's just my opinion.
Samumed surprised me and actually is now about to start a Phase 3 study too. I think it could be a great alternative to finasteride for people who suffer side effects or don't respond, or maybe like all hair loss drugs it could stack really well with other treatments.
No one can deny that 2018 has been the best year in decades for hair loss research. If we could get positive updates from Follica and RCH-01 in the next couple of months, then theres hope that within 3 years, going bald will be a choice.
Is Samumed going to be oral or topical?
What else is about to come out as oral treatment?
That would be very wiry hair. This is my personal idea for dupa patients and the cure. So dht grows hair for every single body part except for hair. So for dupa patients, what if tsuji and reprlicel duplicate beard or any other hair that’s not from head. And they inject into the hair and it will grow much more easily and thick. It just my thought. Since it’s possible to transplant hairs from body part to head.
