The idea is that the desperation of many men imbalances the dating market. Women who are remotely desirable can always find a man if they want one.

Alpha providers do not have this effect. In theory, they go with a woman that wants them. They do not contribute male desperation to the scales.

Tried to talk them out of it, it's a pointless endeavor, they will still dive in and hit their heads full force.

I think it's pathetic when a guy gives everything to a woman who only wants him as a provider. It's sad when they don't know what's happening also.

On the other hand it's a sad situation from the beginning, and I personally dislike the women who do this far more than the beta providers.

Yes, great point. You can't blame a guy for playing the cards he was dealt with.
And if that means a beta girlyman provider who doesn't evoke any form of sexual tension, then so be it.
