Have you considered that maybe @Dante92 is just trying to get you agitated? In which case he has done a good job (again) of that. People have different personalities, it's what makes the world go round. You suck, i suck, he sucks, everyone sucks but in slightly different ways. I'm a pretty good judge of character and of course I've thought of this possibility, normally with that kind of trolling I double troll them back on themselves.

This thread escalated real fast. In all honestly, this forum has become like a family for some of us. An addiction to an alternate social life we find safe and anonymous. A social life were we share some common grounds like social anxiety, depression, and BDD or some form of OCD. Oh yes, and of course to all different levels, hair loss. So I can see how this bottled anger has thrusted out of the minds of some of our great posters. I am truly hopeful after the "make up sex", the sanctity of this truly great forum will be restored once again. And the love for Dante, Rudinger, Exodus, and Johnson will be restored once again by "our family". If not, so be it.

The fact that this can happen amongst such great people makes a social life less attractive in my opinion. I have made alot of friends in my life but there are only a few I can say are real keepers. I think maybe because I place a high value on what it takes to be a friend. And because vindictiveness, selfishness and jealousy seem to be a part our human nature, its very easy to filter out people who use those traits to their advantage. So I am not left with too many great people to socialize or want to hang out with on a regular basis. However, I must say, in this forum I have met some greatness and I still have hope that I will continue to find more in the future.

Exodus, did bring up a great point. This uncontrollable pollution of this "lookism" philosophy bombarded with endless photos of chads and stacies could be enough to drive someone with social anxiety and depression into suicidal thoughts or just emotional rage to lash out. And maybe at some level, it could be happening in this forum. I can tell you from experience, don't let this stuff pollute your minds to the point you don't have a life. Otherwise,you will be living this horror on a loop for the rest of your life and dwell on nothing but regrets.

As much as I hate to admit it, you're both correct. My anger and frustration at those who made me suffer caused me to develop this "pigeonholing" self-defense mechanism against good-looking people in general, and as much as it turned out to be correct in most cases, I've been a complete dick to those few good-looking people who didn't want to mock me and even wanted to be friends with me. Only because, let's say for the sake of argument, 70% of them are sh*t, i should not treat the 30% like sh*t out of some black-white morality, even if it's easier and simpler and spares me lots of pian.
