not true nothing will work long term except for fnasteride. There are alternatives but none as "convenient" as popping a pill every day.

but don't you need fina for transplants? If we go by long term results then transplants > fina.
How does the transplant process work ? Every 5years completely shave ur head? Or do you get a transplant on top of your existing hairDepends on your donor zone and other factors. An alternative is getting a transplant every X years if not on finasteride if you have enough grafts in your donor zone. If you have a below average donor zone you'll have to compromise on density. Also hair type is important. But I think many if not most guys can get away with this approach. So a transplant every 5, X years depending on your hairloss progression. No need for finasteride or anything else.
And transplants look great, I've only seen "cheap" transplants from Turkey in real life from my social network and all of them look great, some have better hairlines, etc but for 99% of people, they wouldn't notice anything different.
A good alternative imo unless you have unrealistic expectations like wanting teenage hair density.
ah interesting dam i should go down this routeIt depends, many tansplant surgeons can do transplants without shaving. And it's only a few weeks of incovenience that parts of your head will look reddish, all depends on how fast you heal.
And even if you need to shave, it will grow back + your new transplanted hairs. Just look up videos on youtube, so much information.
