Dude, I'm in pretty much the exact same boat as far as Finasterid, Minoxidil, hair transplant and Norwood scale are concerned.

Suicide is never the answer, something is better than nothing.

Are you at least off of it now? How long since you got off of it?

Pretty bad, not the worst I've seen, but bad enough that I have to be selective about my clothes.

Go see a doctor and get off forums and Google searches. On the internet, you'll often just see the worst case scenarios. I'm sure it would get better over time by itself, but get a doctor to check it out.

I stopped taking it years ago, it made me severely depressed and anxious.

Yeah I can probably but it's pointless to get one now knowing I will have more hair loss in the future. I have a diffuse pattern thinning on top.

I'm no expert but DPA patients can and do get transplants. Maybe some of the FUE robotics will really minimize shock loss and will give you a decent result? I know its incredibly hard but try not to get too down.

Edit - shock loss is a very dubious concept imo anyway.

I'm in a similar boat myself. There's absolutely nothing I can do about my hair loss at the moment as well and it really sucks ***.

There are some good things on the horizon though for Androgenetic Alopecia such as Histogen and Replicel. Maybe at least wait it out until those get released? Also, have you tried dutasteride instead of finasteride?

Your numb genitals sound really concerning though. You really need to get that checked by a doctor ASAP if that's true.

First thing first, get off finasteride. If you're experiencing something like genital numbness, I wouldn't be surprised if this depression is coming from the finasteride too.

The OP makes a comment downthread on page 1 about high norwoods tending to have thinned out eyebrows as well, citing Jason Stratham as an example of this. Anyone else agree or have noticed this?
