Because it's a facade. I mentioned I'd only possibly consider it if going to another country for a short time, but even if it fooled people I'd still feel false, even just to myself.

Over the long term it's soul destroying. To be dramatic.

Same could be argued about hair transplants however that's real, it's stuck to your scalp, it's not something you re-apply every morning and fear bad conditions in which it is exposed.

Perhaps its an individual thing.

Its not soul destroying for me; it just makes me feel like I look a little better.

Never been called out on wearing it - probably because I only wear a light amount - but I wouldn't care if people knew and I've told people I use thickening product but they asked no further questions.
