It's definitely rougher for women to go bald than for men. That said, I do resent that there is a stigma around men wearing hairpieces, which women don't have to deal with. I honestly think I would care very little about losing hair if there were no shame around wearing a hairpiece and looking virtually as appealing as you did pre-hair loss.

This has to be one of the most bullshit and insightless statements that I have ever read. All these men out here like “lol it’s so funny when women think that life is hard”. Life is hard for anyone of any f*****g age, race or gender if the wrong sh*t crops up. Having a vagina doesn’t make life rosy, doesn’t give you privileges or f*****g immunity from hairloss. It doesn’t mean your existence is validated through photos. You have no f*****g idea what it is like to be a woman NEVER MIND THE HAIRLOSS, in a world where there are predators and society telling you that you are still inferior in so many ways. You honestly haven’t got a clue.

I don't mean anything bad by this but your situation and some of the other women that are balding is very rare at this age. In general terms I think it's true though. A girl that is an 8/10 is going to have an easier time socialising and dating and she'll only worry about a looks decline after 30, maybe a little later. Look at it this way though she'll be attractive for 20 years which is a big win. People kiss up to hot women more.

I used to be a model. Believe it or not I was once pretty. Didn’t ever prevent me from sexual assault or harassment. I and many other girls I know went through eating disorders because he expectation to be thin and perfect. Everyone always assumed that I was vain or brainless, and worst was trying to find a man who wanted to ever genuinely get to know me as a person, rather than just use me. Which happened a lot. Being a woman is not as it seems.

The thing is negative things happen to every person but being attractive is a positive trait that makes life easier. An 8/10 guy can say stuff like 'but they don't like me for who I really am' that still doesn't detract from the fact that their general life will be easier. Would you trade your current position to be a 4/10 guy?
